Hello,
Apart from the reduction in volume, I don't really see the point of making miscanthus pellets when it is harvested by forage harvester in May with a sufficient size and humidity to be burned directly in the boilers pellet!
A+
Unpublished production of miscanthus straw wood pellets
New production of wood pellets
The most efficient of devices will not replace the direct use of sawdust, shavings, etc.
The famous Deon turbo easily burns sawdust, and other pellet with sufficient autonomy, lacks a screw to feed it directly from a hopper. And especially the shelter to store the fuel which obviously takes up more space than pelleting it

As well as depreciation and maintenance of the machine ...dedeleco wrote:She makes 0,2 tonnes per hour at a salary of 20 € or more per hour, unless everyone makes their pellets !!
So on pellets at 200 to 300 € in trade, the tonne there are 5 hours of salary and 15cts of euro of electricity per tonne for free size waste !!!
Not to mention that the free size waste is green, and must therefore be dried (place + handling).

bin if that's exactly what i do!
when I put wood in the log in the chimney, I already put a little sawdust or had shit the cats ... but as the cats continue in summer, the sawdust of the cats accumulated in was of 200l with lid to bottom of the garden ...
but now that I've made a good plate burner that heats up strong enough to destroy anything, I go with everything that burns including the sawdust from previous years!

Hi,
the idea of making pellets with waste is an excellent idea provided that the demand is not such that one is eyeing the waste from logging which is absolutely necessary to maintain the layer of humus. Some biologists are concerned about this risk.
Is it real? Can we supply enough pellets with waste such as those described above?
cordially

Finally, remarkable, in Germany, not in China, after an investment comparable to a stove, you can make your own pellets with garden waste often burnt in the open air by polluting an entire city, instead of burning it in an efficient stove:
It becomes possible to make its own pellets with free plant waste everywhere at home and elsewhere, neighbors and waste! with this remarkable PelletMaker PELLETIERE that takes all pieces of wood wholesale, reduces them to powder and spring granules for an investment of 5600 € less than a boiler !!!
Pelletpresse 3 KW 400V PelletMake for Stroh und Miscanthus
http://pellet-mill.de/shop/article_PM%2 ... 03.0E-S%26
http://cgi.ebay.fr/PelletMaker-PELLETIE ... 563fcabc96
See the videos !!!
only problem, 380V engine to change to 220V.
Finally it is possible to have just the basic parts for cheap (less than 300 €) and tinker his press if you have mechanical equipment.

With this remarkable PELLETIERE PelletMaker which takes all pieces of wood big to small, reduces them to powder and comes out of pellets for an investment of € 5600 less than a boiler !!!
From the video, the exit speed of the pellets seems very, very low ...

"Please don't believe what I'm telling you."
From the video, the exit speed of the pellets seems very, very low ...
but it is indicated;
bei maximize Ausbeute
-I nach Materialzustand bis zu 50 kg Pellets pro Stunde is also possible
dh die Maschine macht sich selbst bezahlt
Language and Festigkeit einstellbar
- Durchmesser variabel durch einfachen Matrizenwechsel
either capable of making up to 50 kg per hour of pellets or granules !!!
much higher than the weight of plants that I prune or recover in my garden per hour of gardening !!!
At 10 grams per second, apparently very, very weak, the case of the first video in the middle, we get 36Kg per hour.
The size and length of the pellets is adjustable, and the throughput of very large pellets (end of video) in number is much lower, but identical in weight.
And this machine is not an industrial machine with several tons per hour !!!
This machine, the price of a stove, includes a dry wood shredder followed by a simple pelletizer and therefore it is also limited by the nature of what must be ground, too hard must certainly delay it.
Finally there are 3600 seconds per hour, which is very very big !!

And the question of electrical energy consumption?
Is the energy consumed / thermally restored ratio worth it?
According to the manufacturer with the pellet mill:
http://pellet-mill.de/shop/article_PM%2 ... 5203.0E%26
3KW of power to make 50KG / hour at 5KWh / kilo of energy we waste 3KWh for 5x50 = 250KWh obtained by combustion this these 50Kg of pellets !!
loss 3/250 = 1,2% or yield 100-1,2 = 98,8% depending on manufacturer
and therefore even if with tough wood, we produce 5 times less or 10kilos of pellets at 4KWh / kilos (less dry wood) the yield remains good at 97% and if we take into account that electricity requires 3 = 2,59 DPE, times more in wasted oil, the yield remains 91% in CO2 and in nuclear used !!!
So valid in heating even if the manufacturer exaggerates the performances ...
