France and energy savings: 3 testimonies of subsidies in the form of tax credits = 3 tax audits.
For me, 3 is a little too much to be a coincidence!
So is there really some kind of "cabal" on the part of the tax authorities against those who apply for subsidies for energy efficient or renewable energy equipment?
We will try to clarify this point ...so call for witnesses
For the debate for or against subsidies it's here: https://www.econologie.com/forums/arnaques-e ... t5520.html

Yes tigger I know well and I think about the same.
Now that is not the subject of this subject but if you want you can open one on the "subsidy trap" (if it is not already I do not remember ...)
Edit: here it is: https://www.econologie.com/forums/arnaques-e ... t5520.html

hi christophe, we already had a lot of debate on it, so I do not open another subject on the subject, however I will read the one where I hope there will be people for your call to witnesses.
and maybe I’ll learn a lot of beautiful things.

Yes we discussed it, here and there, lost in subjects ... but no real substantive debate. But maybe I'm wrong? If you find a subject, stick it here.

Control then rectification. This is what happened to the 3 cases mentioned above (including one that I know personally)

So, I confirm:
in 2006 I invested in a pellet boiler, I received aid from the region and the department.
in 2007 I make my 2006 income tax return with all the necessary documents. I am receiving a tax credit as scheduled.
And then at the beginning of 2008, I received a recommended "rectification proposal", this is the term used for what was previously called a tax adjustment. I am told in this letter that it seems that I did not correctly apply the calculation rules (differentiation between manpower and equipment and allocation of aid) and that I must return part of the tax credit unfairly perceived.
I am taken with a doubt.
it seems to me, however, that I had checked all of this well (the method of calculation is indeed not obvious and depends on the formulation of the subsidy) verification made, everything was good. I then make a nice letter explaining in detail how I calculated the amount giving entitlement to the tax credit.
I receive a call from a lady (charming on the phone) who asks me for some additional information and tells me that she will check all of this.
A few days later, I receive a letter notifying the abandonment of the adjustment.

3 + 1 = 4 So my fears are confirmed!
They at least excused for the error? Your testimony and the 3 others remind me of 2 things:
a) the tax services do not like the calculation of premiums ...
b) would they randomly send adjustments to any premium requests?
