Classes available every day from Nine AM to Twelve midday.
I had a 10 L gas water heater with pilot light (Styx) for 150 years; the burner never worked, only the night light was enough to provide hot water (for 2 people); from time to time the outlet pipe would clog due to scale; indeed when with the pilot light on there is no regulation of the temperature and it rose well beyond 60°C when we were absent ..... I never stopped the gas for fear of having a pb to relight the pilot light (thermocouple).
From this experience I learned: remove any gas water heater with pilot light, very high cost, and important maintenance if hard water
It was between 2005 and 2015, today in addition with the price of gas, there is more than to scrap all this type of device....

Its use is the pb, when there are 2. For a large family, it's great.

But I think, being more or less in your case, I rarely hear it start up, even when I spend several hours in the cellar.

And limestone, yes, there's plenty of it.

And to turn it back on, it's often complicated .... The one I had before this one, I needed almost an hour, because when it fails, you have to wait 3 minutes, before trying again ....

Anyway, as soon as I have time, I put the whole house on the boiler, and more just the shower.

My summer gas consumption, from the gas boiler producing hot water...

It's day and night.

Last year's consumption.

conso gaz juilaoutsept.jpg (12.23 KiB) Consulted 1065 times

When I'm not there, the boiler is turned off.

I am at around 70 kWh when we are there, in the summer period, against the range of 300, whether I am at home or not, or around 4 times less.

We will round up to 200 kWh per month of gain, which will make a small 2000 kWh per year, with the cold periods, when the loss is greater, i.e. not far from 200€ per year.

very good, problem resolved...
That said, I think that, as mentioned above, the production of individual DHW should rather be directed towards electricity than towards gas.

I'm not sure, without solar panels, or without thermodynamics.

There, that makes me around €7 per month, or around €100 per year in cost, for 2 people...

In electricity, even in tempo, if we consider 70 kWh of energy, we are closer to 10€.

In thermo thing, even on brico depot, it's around 1000€, the ball.

Public chat https://www.chocdiscount.com/plug-and-p ... hidee.html, you have a plug&play kit for around €300, for 760 Wc.

This is something to think about, for those who do not have solar production...
