Ukrainian authorities announced that the Chernobyl nuclear power plant was disconnected from the main energy system. At the moment, the emergency operation of the power plant is supported by diesel-electric generators, however, within 48 hours they will stop their work, which will lead to the failure of the cooling system of the spent nuclear fuel storage and this threatens to increase radiation.
“Standby diesel generators will supply the Chernobyl nuclear power plant and its facilities for 48 hours. Then the cooling system of the spent nuclear fuel storage will be turned off, which will threaten radiation leakage,” said Dmitry Kuleba, head of the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry.

So according to your information, Gegyx, there is still spent fuel to be cooled... it's party time!

Otherwise the Battle of Chernobyl is still available here for latecomers:

There are only people like Izentrop who have worked there, guys who think “that nature has taken back its rights” and therefore that as man “is part of nature” it has become safe for us! : roll:

Izentrop would do well to watch these films : Shock: : Shock: : Shock:

In my opinion, the best doc on the disaster is the fairly recent mini-series Chernobyl by OCS...

The directors carried out in-depth scientific research...probably deeper than the official investigation at the time! : Mrgreen:

“I must note with great regret that the Ukrainian nationalists have engaged in another provocation, an extremely dangerous provocation. They hit the substation and the power lines supplying the Chernobyl nuclear power plant. Russian specialists have taken prompt measures to switch to emergency power sources from diesel generators,” said Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Nikolai Pankov.

Put a candle to Putin, this great humanist and living god of low-level nationalisms, will surely solve the Chernobyl problem.
In particular by the nuclear weapon, history that Chernobyl becomes insignificant compared to all the remainder.

How? 'Or' What ? Ah, a low-level nationalist tells me aside that Putin will not use nuclear weapons. We can believe it. He's the same guy who said Putin wouldn't invade Ukraine.
