We suspected it !!

How do you want this corium or magma which heats without limits other than surface cooling, deficient (heating water that cools almost nothing, (10 100 times less), 2000 ° C and more does not found the tank and all he meets downhill !!
It's not a lie, it's like doing the ostrich hiding your head !!

The assessment of everything, what was shipped in explosions and smokes, is very difficult and undervalued with orders of magnitude pulled down, as long as we do not have indisputable measures that take a lot of time.

Even more serious hot spots to evacuate to more than 20milliSieverts a year, additional, beyond the current evacuated area, as asked Greepeace since March !!
Evacuation of hot spots mulled

This summer the Japanese nuclear will kill by heat stroke for lack of electricity for air conditioners!
http://www3.nhk.or.jp/daily/english/08_26.html

Tepco swims in thousands of tons of radioactive water to reject which overflows !!

and suicides increased by 18% in Japan:
http://www3.nhk.or.jp/daily/english/08_09.html

Independent experts will evaluate the disaster and its management:
http://search.japantimes.co.jp/cgi-bin/ ... 608a1.html

Nuclear power plants were not prepared for such a crisis, having never considered a tsunami of 14 meters (very serious, since Japan had 33m in 1896 and 1933 elsewhere!) Nor envisaged a total loss of means of cooling and electricity !!
Nuke plant was unprepared for crisis, government admits
http://search.japantimes.co.jp/cgi-bin/ ... 608a1.html

In France, we neglect possible events such as under earthquake risk assessment, for our homes too, under tsunami risk assessment, even on the Rhone, (dam failure), effective attack, etc.

Sooner or later it will happen to us, since we can not be infallible in perpetuity, and it will be too late !!

Arte right now presents theworking conditions of precarious or nuclear niggers subcontractors intended to be contaminated some days (3 times 10 times more dose than EDF agents), a total working life 315Millisieverts, (sometimes unrecognized lung cancer, with health records scattered making the total impossible and therefore underestimated recognized cancers).
We lie about the risks taken by the service providers pushed to do the cheapest, with less staff more irradiated, the faster!

And Jancovici who claims that "below 200 milliSievert is not documented" !!!

But it will not happen at all. : Cheesy:
There is no power plant at the seaside or ocean. 8)
There is no power plant in a flood zone. 8)
There is no power station in seismic zone. 8)
Everything's fine... :P
Japan is bathed in corium : Cry:

Go on Saturday in Paris:
International day of action to get out of nuclear power in Paris, the 11 June 2011
14h30 Republic Square
16h00 Square of the City Hall

11 June 2011, three months will have passed since the beginning of the Fukushima disaster and pollution continues. Highly radioactive substances are still flowing into the air and into the ocean. Out of Nuclear Paris, Attac France and Echo Exchanges NGOs France Japan join to invite citizens, associations, unions and political parties to protest against the nuclear industry and its lies covered by the authorities, and demand the exit of nuclear power.

The event will start at 14h30 from the Place de la République to reach the Hôtel de Ville. The second part of the event will begin at 16h on the Parvis where speeches and concerts will follow one another. The event will end at 20h after a final concert.

In France, a catastrophe can occur at any moment. While the main pro-nuclear arguments are contradicted by reality and the benefits of nuclear power are illusory, the French government continues to pose a senseless risk to the population. However, exit scenarios exploiting renewable energies exist. It only takes political will, like other European countries such as Germany or Switzerland, to implement them and at the same time create many jobs that can not be relocated. Stubbornly, the national authorities compromise our future by making the pastist choice of a dangerous industry, already obsolete, and socially very expensive.

This event will be an opportunity to require the government to establish democratic procedures involving unions and citizen organizations for the definition of the program of progressive closure of the plants and their dismantling.

Participating organizations:

Out of Nuclear Paris, Attac France, Echo Exchanges NGO France Japan, Network Out of the Nuclear, Acting for the Environment, Alliance Independent Ecologist, Alliance for Health, Alternative, Friends of the Earth, Nuclear Weapons Stop, Cap 21, Youth Call Collective, Collettivo 5.12, Peasant Confederation, Children of Chernobyl Belarus, Europe Ecology-The Greens, Federation for a Social and Ecological Alternative, France Liberty, Greenpeace France, Italia dei Valori, International Women's League for Peace and Peace Liberty, Movement of the Objectors of Growth, New Anti-Capitalist Party, Communist Party of the Workers of France, Party of Left, Party for the Decay, SUD-Rail, Utopia.

The first measures are born CF & National parliament ate lion

The day after the vote, here are the measures taken:
- electric heating will be banned (with sufficient time to amortize existing installations). 250'000 constructions concerned is the equivalent of a nuclear power plant, which already represents 20% of the final objective !!!
- refusal to introduce incentive taxes (on the contrary, incentives must be introduced), including:
- creating standards to save energy in buildings.
- the right of appeal of associations hindering ENr will be restricted.
- promotion of the injection of green energy into the electricity grid.
- the limitation of bureaucracy and simplification of authorization procedures for the production of renewable energies also passed without opposition.
- lifting of the ceiling put on the purchase at cost price of the green current. So almost 8'000 facilities will no longer be limited to the amount of power they can sell to the network! [Since the time that was expected, this one ...]
- renouncing the introduction of a tax on the kilowatt-hour of nuclear power for the benefit of training and research on renewable energies. (So there won't be a penny of subsidy for the "bell-shooters" ... They absolutely want "programs that work")

I pass you the details, if you had seen the flocks of green wood ... There I do not recognize my country! : Cheesy:

... that happiness. :D 8)

We must detail to push France to copy and promote this renewable, because Switzerland to the east of French nuclear power plants can be evacuated if one of these plants derails and contaminates everywhere in the direction of the prevailing wind, inevitable sooner or later!

We do not think about ourselves, nor do we ask others to follow us ...

But by the time the 'Club of denuclearized European nations' ...

It will come! : Mrgreen: : Chessy:

In any case, it was largely the Swiss who shot Superphénix, and there was even a Helvetian who fired at the bazooka : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen: : Mrgreen: So we have to push ourselves ...:

Thank you, the Swiss, under the potential cloud, because it was a madness to 6000 tons of liquid sodium ready to catch fire with water exchangers on a fairly seismic zone !!
A wasteful madness at 9 billions of €.

And some people want to do it again.

And there is in the middle of Japan a sodium phoenix which can not stop any more: the crane of the exit of fuel having fallen in !!!
Plus with a big seismic fault below.

A disaster is still very possible in central Japan, west of Kyoto.

And on the A3 at this moment very short discussion between a pro MP nuclear some of our infallibility and Corinne Lepage against very recovery,
"I find that we should not take advantage of catastrophes to stop nuclear power, which is essential because renewable energy is not sufficient and Germany matters ....
"it is bullshit !!!" C Lepage retorts.

C. Lepage is not the one that is able to replace a nuclear power plant slice withmagnetic resonance wind turbine.

It's crazy this denial of results that would give any good "slide rule"... Already in the sixties ...

It's not difficult to understand:
- the parliament has decided to ban electric heating (eventually).

Result: already 20% savings saved on the planned program! The equivalent of a nuclear power station.

Yes, but the Co2? Bein with the solar thermal one saves on the whole of the real estate park, until some 60% of consumption ...

Result without storage of heat in the soil (only in immediate use with small thermal balloon like a big boiller).

And since the nuke represents only 10% of total energy needs, we are largely winning, and we already know that our goals will be achieved and even exceeded.

Afterwards there is still the native plan:
- the "increased geothermal energy" dear to Dede and that should nibble on 40% remaining (the objective is to arrive there ...)
- PV panels that represent a potential of 20TW (ie all current 5 nuke units.)
- geothermal energy at great depth.
- underground hydroelectric power.
- the hydroelectric power of the new mountain lakes.
- the wind.
etc

But the Germans will want to invest even more in Desertec ....

Potential solar thermal (admittedly huge in California, but it gives an idea):

Image

Desertec or not, so it can hardly be as bad as the nuke that caps 25% efficiency for only 10% of needs covered ...

In short, it's not the alternatives that are missing: no nuke = no concern.

(at 8min10)

in the Aeolian world, magnetic levitation bearings are being developed to reduce friction to almost zero with permanent magnets, such as neodymium magnets.

it is not resonance, but indeed, there is research on this subject.

Discrediting Corine Lepage because of a misunderstanding is a shame because it is one of the few to know decently the topics it addresses (with Yves Cochet).
