"securing its energy supplies"

we are already wrong. We must not "stock up", but produce at home. Admittedly, we can buy abroad at the margin, but not 90% for energy.

In this the nuclear Super Janco is hardly encouraging, except to launch breeder reactors with our stocks of U238.

We just got squirted from Mali, what about our supply of Uranium in Niger?

And on top of that, we get angry with Russia and Ukraine, which are other uranium exporters.

Well done West!
Better to tighten the belt than to make a pact with the Stalinist facho of the Kremlin. Clearly, markets do not dictate the ethics of democracies.

At least this country is not invading Europe or threatening atomic weapons.

poor fool...

Yemen's war with petrodollars buying American weapons...

Find out...

The same mechanism in Ukraine: corrupt people in power who attacked Donbass civilians with NATO weapons.

I give you for memory the extract where Poroshenko calls in half-words for the genocide of the inhabitants of Donbass

watch it long before progressive democrat american social media censor it...

Poor fool.

So would this be the demonstration that the statement "this country is not invading Europe or threatening atomic weapons" would be false?
Not a reasoning with you that holds water, it is confirmed.

Putin did not invade Europe or use nuclear weapons. Le Drian was the first to threaten nuclear weapons.

you have to stop beating yourself up...

Putin reacted to 8 years of bombardments of civilians in Donbass, NATO interference in Ukraine and neo-Nazi warts officially integrated into the Ukrainian army, on a diplomatic background of violations of the Minsk agreements.

Putin's decisions obviously cause many deaths and material damage. Just like those of those who pushed him to the conflict.

Jancovici this morning on France Info, president of the Shift Project, analyzes the 2022 presidential candidates with regard to the Paris agreements.
Online interview likely to come. According to him, "Curiously Jadot is not the best placed" : Lol:

This article is part of a special operation, in collaboration with Les Shifters, an association of volunteers that accompanies the think tank The Shift Project, specialist in energy transition.

Faced with global warming, the next President of the Republic will have to make important decisions. His mandate will end in 2027, three years before 2030, by which time France must have reduced its greenhouse gas emissions by 40% to comply with the Paris climate agreement.

To do this, he or she will find on his desk the National Low Carbon Strategy (SNBC), an official document which describes, sector by sector – transport, buildings, agriculture, industry, etc. – the major efforts to be made. A roadmap that successive governments have struggled to respect since its establishment in 2015.

Are the candidates' programs compatible with these objectives? This is the question franceinfo wanted to answer, a few days before the first round of the 2022 presidential election. This article presents an overview of the evaluation of the programs and, for each candidate, a summary of the shifter analysis. You can find their full review on their website.

Well obviously, minister is not in his plans at the moment, too bad :(

Among the Catholics for the occasion, from minute 40 the question of rationing: "while I was a big supporter of the carbon tax in the old days as a means of starting to gradually solve the problem... I think that today we have unfortunately waited too long, and if we want rapid measures I think that they will have to be essentially regulatory, that is to say essentially well thought out and accepted forms of rationing.

I think that at 2€/L, the smicard father is already rationed.

apart from gas for artificial reasons (tap shut off), I don't think we will have any shortages in 2022, and moreover the rise in prices is helping to contract demand.

if we think over several decades, it's different.
