From an artistic point of view we can say that it is one of the best produced advertisements.
For the rest, let's say that the flagrante delicto of "green-washing" (Nuclear = respect for the environment) is obvious.
Areva tries to pass the nuclear power for an environmentally friendly energy, because the stake is enormous considering the number of developing countries which launch or want to launch into the atom, there is need to bait the customer...
Besides, this publicity is in direct line with the declarations of the Head of State, namely that nuclear and renewable are not incompatible (which means that the nuke risks remaining hegemonic for a bunch of time in our country).
I love the latest Greenwashing pub by Areva

Take me out of a doubt!
We are talking about this ad here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_eQ1hp7PFQg here is the long version which starts in Egypt! (so I withdraw my remark on the wood)?
And the "making of": http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PiY07IdW800 (not to be looked at by anti nuke at risk of attack ...)
Estimated cost of the spot?
I don't know anything about a film budget but considering the making of, I would say between 1 and 3 million euros?

Cat-wrestling to all!
Incredible, but true, they still make you jump!
What a waste of energy, what stupidity of advertising and what a lack of honesty !!!
It looks furiously like the posters of dictators in emerging countries ... (or rather those who try to get their heads out of the water)
I think it is time that we see that only the FRIC ROI is in power, and that we open our eyes and mouth, all together, to say the word of Cambronne very high and very strong to all these leaders, whether they believe they are democrats or not, don't you think ???
Behind their very clean facades, because washed with "LIE PLUS" "THE LAUNDRY OF THE PSEUDOS OWN PEOPLE" which washes your memory and neurons in depth without leaving any traces, these companies run by unscrupulous beings, never stop growing. enrich by selling their salads more ECOLOGICAL and GREEN, like the detergents of olden days, where white was a "color" that could change in nature (shine) as often as the debilitating messages that mentioned it
2012 is fast approaching and nobody seems to want to believe that things are changing faster than ever ... in a good way ????
End of my rant!

Does not prevent wood still does not appear in their spot while it is in Primary Energy and very far away, the 1st renewable energy exploited by humans ... if that's not proof of bad faith ...
Also I have big doubts about the existence of Egyptian wind turbines with vertical axis (never heard spoken) that we see at the very beginning ... should I trust them or does this require verification?

Christophe wrote:Then the message: coal -> petroleum -> nuke -> enr is there and is not that bad ...
Except that in the pub, there is no separation between the nuke and the enr.
The nuke is well associated with renewables (they are on the same level), that's what is revolting.
the pub reminds me of this central: http://www.larousse.fr/encyclopedie/med ... e/11016031
Pure greenwashing as I hate it.

About that ...
Read that
Paris and Prague want to pass nuclear as renewable energy
ENERGY- The two countries wish to include nuclear power alongside renewable energies ...
Several MEPs on Wednesday denounced a Franco-Czech attempt to adopt at the highest level of the EU a declaration making nuclear energy a means of combating climate change, which they believe would harm renewable energies.
If the Franco-Czech amendments are adopted on Friday at a summit of EU heads of state and government in Brussels, "it would be a decisive breakthrough in favor of nuclear energy, which would have the effect of weakening indirectly renewable energies ”, underlined the Luxembourg MEP Claude Turmes, specialist in these issues among the Greens
Let us recall modestly, but objectively that:
1) Fissile nuclear is not a renewable energy, but FOSSIL
2) Fissile nuclear is a CARBON energy because it comes from mining and chemical activities within the - very - heavy industry.
To sum up trivially: the choice between plague and cholera is the choice between oil and atom.
The only remedy: renewable energies and the energy transition ...
Ah, it seems that Mr. Saulnier is not of my opinion

Yes Petrus in my opinion it's 1 to 3 million euros budget ... it must be on the net ...
Answer (I was far from the account, it is very expensive the second ...): http://jne-asso.org/blogjne/
To check...
Full budget spot + broadcast: 20M € ...

Ah it is the last plan that bothers you where we see wind turbines, solar and nuke side by side?
Because in the message it says: "nuke energy with less CO2" (implying that fossils).
It is also indicated that Areva is a player in renewable energies. It bothers me more: I want to, but which ones?
Remundo I would say even more: oil is more renewable than nuke fission because CO2 sooner or later ends up being recycled into plants, one% of which could end up in oil ...

While traveling, in the fashion of the video game Age of empire, the spot required an impressive budget of 15,5 million euros. But when we look at her making-of, we understand why: extras in shambles, ten months of work, mobilization of the London symphonic orchestra… Areva loves and must do things big.

No to AREVA propaganda!
Latest addition: 31 January.
January 2011: impossible to escape the new AREVA advertising spot, of which 1 TV spots are broadcast on 500 TV channels.
A 20 million euro global propaganda campaign to promote nuclear power, paid for by taxpayers since the State is a 90% shareholder in AREVA.
On January 14, 2011, the “Sortir du nuclear” network filed a complaint against this spot before the advertising ethics jury.
