Explain to me, there's something I don't understand.
The hydrogen used as fuel is extracted from water, which is therefore temporarily dissociated into hydrogen and oxygen.
The use of hydrogen as fuel entails a recombination of this with the oxygen of the air by creating water in the form of vapor. That's right ?
If that's it, we didn't create water, we just transformed the material, to use an old formula. The water we had at the start for the H2 / O dissociation is found at the outlet of the exhaust. So we can "swing" as much water or water vapor in the atmosphere as we want, it is not added to the existing water on our planet.
The only problem would be that this water comes out in the form of vapor, which can generate a rise in temperature in the atmosphere. In this case, is it not enough to condense it by a system qqconque on the level of the vehicle?

Even these wandering questions.
As stated Woodcutter, its vapor has a significant greenhouse effect, but naturally, it quickly transforms. This is not the case for other components.

The concern with hydrogen is that with a hydrogen industry, resulting from the dissociation of water, there will be storage, transport, and many inherent losses.
Gas emissions will escape into the atmosphere, and if unfortunately they do not burn or explode immediately, : Mrgreen: , lighter than air, they will rise at high altitude, to the borders of the atmosphere.

This hydrogen will be trapped. It cannot be combined with oxygen, the heavier stagnant on the ground floor, to replenish water…

It will be so much water lost to the earth, irremediably.

I invite you to visit the site of UTOPIATECH.FR jEAN MARC Moreau just made a test in front of two independent bailiff
result less 77% of fuel oil consumption.

If the hydrogen produces water vapor, what about the cooling towers of the refrigerants that we see in all industry and the towers of nuclear and thermal plants.

The water vapor rises in the admosphere which cools it and condenses it into fine droplets which will end up in rain or snow or see large grellons but will eventually fall back

We are waiting for the product on the market ...

To return to the initial query:

a) CO2 lifespan in the atmosphere: around 120 years
b) lifespan of water in the atmosphere: about 2 weeks after that falls back in the form of rain or other ...
c) the combustion of petroleum already releases water (1L of burned fuel = 1 kg of water approximately)
d) the use of petroleum, therefore creates water and depletes the atmosphere of O2.
e) in the case of H2, point d) is possible but depends on the source of the H2 ... but in most cases the H2 is extracted from the water (oil cracking, electrolysis .. .) the quantity of water present on Earth will therefore not change over time. But you have to make the overall assessment as Gegyx says

But as Bobono says, it is true that steam is already contributing to climate change, especially in industrial areas and region close to nuclear power plants .... It is not trivial.

It seems to me to have read (in Science and Life?) That the planets which have an atmosphere too (light?) Kind hydrogen cannot manage to keep it on large scales of time (millions of years?) The gas ending up scatter in space (because of cosmic radiation?).

Will this lead to an atmosphere / planet increasingly rich in oxygen and poor in water? I do not know if it is applicable to our land but there too there would be a point of no return. :|

In the case of large "leaks" of H2 in the air (therefore in space) yes this is indeed what could happen ... but the leaks are not part of "normal" operation ... Unlike to the combustion of fossil fuels which, conversely, deplete O2 and increase water ...

The whole coupled with a sirling or an ericsson in order to use the delta T ° to produce electricity (as much power in less taken on mechanical energy).
And the water collected in a tank can be used for watering / WC / new hydrolysis ...

The condenser ok, but to store water that is no longer used is to lug around unnecessary weight that makes you consume more .... so you have to transfer the fleet which is no longer used as it is produced. : Mrgreen:
