Hello everyone, it is really disappointing to see one of the most beautiful parks like that of La Vérendry deteriorate like that with the superb lazy fishing technique of our friends (who are supposed to be in harmony with nature ..... ..mon Q) in the spawning grounds, it drives me crazy at a point where I think I will go more in the park, it should be boycotted, the sepaq will be able to wake up.
lucky that it is quite far in the woods because if it will be close to my home I believe that there would be several confrontations in the spawning places.
When I hear Carboma's words:
Indeed, I must admit that the main reason for the decline of Walleye on Cabonga and Dozois is due to net fishing during spawning periods. Personally, I think it makes no sense to let people do that. Often, outfitter guides find nets, "Gill net", abandoned in rivers. La Capitachouane, La Chochocouane, ... Fillets over 300 feet long and full of rotten fish. So bulging and filled with fish that they can't haul them up or even bring it back to shore with a medium power engine. Abandoned nets ... Possibly the previous catch was too big and required too much work. They are abandoned and left to rot ... What a waste!
This has been declared to the authorities, but nothing has been done.
Big existing social problems further pushes the black market and smuggling. To get enough of desire, you need cash and this is the quickest way to do it. We sell our resources for drugs.
As sad as it is, this is reality.
I'm getting more and more crazy, it's hard to control and stay respectful with people like that, I put them all in the same boat it's people who are supposed to be in harmony with nature and to understand it while respecting or ripping it off
of a frustrated guy who hates nets except * FUCKS ....... FUCKS *
Not so harmless our Indians!
