EPR, to the dregs for EDF and Areva?

Oil, gas, coal, nuclear (PWR, EPR, hot fusion, ITER), gas and coal thermal power plants, cogeneration, tri-generation. Peakoil, depletion, economics, technologies and geopolitical strategies. Prices, pollution, economic and social costs ...

the government does not want to embark on a new construction before this EPR works, but this deadline has been extended to 2023.
At the same time he stops Fessenheim, the taxpayer has not finished paying the bad things and we will pass into the wrong customers in the fight against RC. : Shock:

But we’ve been paying for nuclear power for years!

With a price of electricity among the cheapest in Europe ... Price which has increased since the individual takes charge of wind turbines which cost an arm without solving anything in RC and the forced competition of EDF.
French consumers benefit from an electricity price in € / MWh that is among the lowest in Europe (or even the lowest in purchasing power parity) according to the study conducted by Mr. Michel Cruciani in 2011 for the 'French Institute of International Relations30 (*).

With a price of Kw which does not appear on the EDF invoices, which is largely undermined by nuclear marketing and which does not take into account the excavation, delays, misses of Areva, CEA fiascos and dismantling to come ... The real price of French nuclear Kw is undoubtedly the most expensive in the world!

According to the 2018 edition of the Nuclear Industry Status Report (WNISR): “Solar and wind are now the cheapest energy sources connected to the grid. Investments in new nuclear power plants, on the other hand, are motivated only by public support and by nuclear-weapon states. ”

“The relative prices of sources of electricity have changed, and solar and wind power are today, in most countries, the cheapest energy sources connected to the grid.”

PV magazine is not going to spit in the soup and it does not mean anything to compare intermittent and permanent energy.
The report of the Court of Auditors takes into account everything related to nuclear power and yet it remains cheaper than wind power, not to mention that it is necessary to divide by 5 to obtain the actual production of wind power without the capacity to respond to Requirement.

EPR costs a little more, but it remains an energy that meets demand https://prix-elec.com/energie/production

EPR costs slightly more
a little? : Shock:
but it's still an energy that meets demand https://prix-elec.com/energie/production
massive argument of any industrialist who provokes the need by making believe that it corresponds to the demand. (and that seems to be it) Yesterday they made the coup with the electric heaters supposed more economic and which all regret (the consumers ) today. We are now doing the same thing with electric cars, tomorrow electric planes, electric boats, electric rockets and long live the nuclear business ... costs a little more! Thanks boss! : Evil:

It is not a reasoning, it is a statement.
