You're sure ?

We can't be sure, I said "a lot of"... It depends in particular on the duration of this price crisis.

But obviously there are signs. Leclerc has already stopped since November I believe. A small article:

We're going to have to tighten our energy belt...

Yes we have to open Fessenheim again...

So I'm reposting this info a third time:

The Moselle plant could restart during next winter, given the war in Ukraine and tensions on the energy market.

Fortunately, PV and wind power are running well at the moment... otherwise with all the air conditioning pumping on the network, we would probably have already had blackouts (or at best a lot of extra carbon kWh...)

Otherwise, renewables are crap for the infamous Gaullist nuclear lobby (of pensioners)...

Gaullism had its logic and its successes with the technologies of its time. But a state within a state has been created and nuclear has engulfed the electricity mix excessively.

The fundamentals of Gaullism remain eternal; national sovereignty. You just have to put them "in the sauce" of the paradigms of 2020, nuclear power can be part of the mix, even if it would only be necessary to maintain the current fleet decently...

and of course diversify all sources of energy, in particular renewable and produced on our territory.

In this the blind promotion of EVs is stupid. We will need biofuels, it is unavoidable.

Gaullism was also FranceAfrica... : Mrgreen:

It's still relevant, it's just that the territorial occupation of the concept has changed or rather has been reversed! : Mrgreen:

Yes, the fall of French nuclear power (and of the various and varied rankings of France internationally) is only a consequence of the demographic and intellectual decrepitude (including especially the political class) of France... let me tell you about my recent visit to the Leclerc in Schiltigheim-Bagdad... : Shock: : Shock: : Shock:
