Nuclear disaster narrowly avoided in Sweden?

Oil, gas, coal, nuclear (PWR, EPR, hot fusion, ITER), gas and coal thermal power plants, cogeneration, tri-generation. Peakoil, depletion, economics, technologies and geopolitical strategies. Prices, pollution, economic and social costs ...

Well yes it's interesting and this post, there is nothing more to say if not talk about the safety of the power plants and indeed the causes and possible consequences of this "incident"

In this RFI article, Lars-Olov Hoglund, an engineer who knows Forsmark well since he took part in its construction in the 80s (and who is not part of the "exit nuclear" network : Wink:), draws conclusions as alarmist as the association (the fusion of the heart is evoked).

Who's right, it's hard to say that opacity is the rule everywhere when it comes to nuclear power. As a reminder, the current Swedish government is campaigning for the resumption of nuclear power for the general elections that take place in about ten days. They therefore have every interest in minimizing the incident.

Anyway, the mere fact that no media (or almost) has picked up this news in France seems to me almost as worrying as the incident itself. This means that our sources of information are "filtered" by the nuclear lobby.

From there to think that in case of new Chernobyl the cloud would stop again at our borders (at least in the media) ....

There, normally, I should take the face full ... : roll:

The problem for this cloud is that its children (full of nice little cancers of the thyroid), they appear that much later. So, outside the ugly immigrant cloud !!!
