Yes for their own employees (and probably after years of legal proceedings) but not for the damage caused indirectly by oil ...
We have seen how the Erika trial was treated ... a farce ... but it is their CONSCIOUSNESS ...
Being green and pronuclear?

Hello!
thank you for your answers, it gives me axes to deepen, in particular that of innovation which is to be continued, issued by georges100
I did not find any other standard arguments, except on the areva site where I had asked the same question. I had some elements of arguments if you are interested:

otherwise, I know I will not have a pre-cooked job so I go back!
thank you ! and if you have other sources, I am interested!
merci!

green and nuclear?
No, nuclear cannot be green: uranium is not a renewable energy; waste remains hazardous for thousands of years, and it is unclear where to put it; the sums invested in nuclear power prevent research in other fields. A Greenpeace study in 2005 showed that if we invested 3 billion euros (price of the new EPR reactor) in the field of renewable energies and energy savings, we managed to produce or save twice as much energy than that provided by a nuclear power plant, and 15 times more jobs!

Source? I'm puzzled ... renewable energies have roughly the investment cost of a power plant (€ 1 for wind power versus 1,5 for nuclear power per W) but produce 3 to 5 times less energy per year ... so I really don't see how with the same amount we can produce twice as much energy.
For energy saving yes on the other hand.
Insulation or over-insulation is the action that saves the most energy when investing!

Yeah already it's not systematic and especially we will have more and more ... I have lots of friends who have video projector for example (800W instead of a TV at 200W max) ...
This is also what automakers have been saying for 10 years .... but total oil consumption is stagnating or even increasing slightly all the same in France ... the share of transport is only increasing!

Without forgetting the fact that oil and gas heating systems replace each other with heat pumps

Toutafé ... and let's not talk about pure Sino-Chinese air conditioning, for the most part sold for a few hundred euros and installed by Mr. Everyone !!
Besides, we break power records every year now ...
In the end, you are completely wrong about this ...

It was not Greenpeace but the "exit nuclear" network and the sources are there:
