France dear country of your childhood = nuclear trash

Oil, gas, coal, nuclear (PWR, EPR, hot fusion, ITER), gas and coal thermal power plants, cogeneration, tri-generation. Peakoil, depletion, economics, technologies and geopolitical strategies. Prices, pollution, economic and social costs ...

nuclear power not only generates electricity, it generates a whole host of other major problems.

> uranium mines - the fuel for nuclear reactors - contaminate entire regions. French nuclear power contaminates Niger in particular, whose mines produce a third of the uranium consumed by EDF

> reactors in operation release radioactivity into the air and water.

> reactors in operation release large quantities of chemicals (copper, zinc, phosphorus, sodium, chlorides, morpholine, etc.) into rivers and the sea.

> nuclear reactors produce radioactive waste for which there is no solution and the most dangerous of which will last for millions of years. These reactors produce, among other things, plutonium which is excessively harmful to living beings and which allows the manufacture of nuclear bombs.

> overconsumption of electricity, 80% of nuclear origin, ultimately emits a great deal of CO2 because it requires the commissioning of thermal power stations (coal, fuel oil, etc.), in particular during each consumption peak. .

Network "Sortir du nuclear" - Federation of 830 associations
[Please pass this call on to your contacts]

Landfill of radioactive waste, 3115 municipalities under threat
Saturday September 27, 2008, in front of the 20 prefectures concerned,
participate in rallies and simultaneous actions!

Departments directly threatened: Ardennes (08), Aube (10), Aveyron (12), Cher (18), Eure (27), Indre (36), Lot (46), Marne (51), Haute-Marne (52) , Meurthe-et-Moselle (54), Meuse (55), Moselle (57), Nord (59), Oise (60), Pas-de-Calais (62), Bas-Rhin (67), Seine Maritime (76 ), Somme (80), Tarn-et-Garonne (82), Vosges (88)

Do you want a nuclear bin under your feet?
under those of your neighbors?

The "Sortir du nuclear" Network calls for the holding of simultaneous gatherings and actions on Saturday, September 27 in front of the prefectures of the 20 departments which have been pre-selected by Andra (National Agency for the management of radioactive waste), on government mission, to "receive" nuclear waste destined to be buried.

Since the beginning of June, 3115 mayors have been contacted by Andra, which is trying to push its project forward behind the backs of the inhabitants, in a total lack of transparency. However aware of the issues, many elected officials and many municipalities have already spoken out against this project.

You can act now!

• Contact the local relays closest to you to take part in an action on September 27 in front of the Prefecture concerned, or to help organize it.
Contact details for local contacts can be found at: http://www.sortirdunucleaire.org/dossie ... te-dechets, section Contacts in the regions.
Do you want to register as a local relay for this mobilization? Send an email with your details to: jocelyn.peyret@sortirdunucleaire.fr !

•• Distribute around you the information leaflet and the critical analysis file of the project. Inform your neighbors and your elected officials!
Download these documents on: http://www.sortirdunucleaire.org/dossie ... te-dechets, “Downloads” section, or order them by sending us an email to nouara.scalabre@sortirdunucleaire.fr by specifying your full contact details and the number of copies desired for each type of document.

••• Request Andra to publish the list of 3115 municipalities concerned by regularly calling its specific information number 0 800 000 150. It is a toll-free number, therefore free, supposedly reserved for elected officials who wish to s 'inform about the project. Let's be thousands to call this number!

•••• If you cannot participate in mobilization actions, you can support us with a donation of the amount of your choice.
If you are taxable, your donation will be deductible at 66% of your taxes. Thus, a donation of 20 euros will actually cost you only 6,80 euros after tax deduction.
Please make your check payable to “Sortir du nuclear” to be sent to 9, rue Dumenge 69317 Lyon Cedex 04.

We thank you in advance for your mobilization and support!

Sincerely

Hello,
We often forget the by-products of nuclear decay (see "radioactive decay on the net) and that the half-life is only half-life, that is to say that the quantity at the origin is Split statistically by two...

http://www.moh.gov.kw/rad/PHOTOS/Radiat ... ral3-2.gif

Plus pure biological toxicity, which has nothing to do with radioactivity (like cadmium, for example)

This is not because we always said that it is impossible that we should not try :)

the "final solution" of radioactive waste produced by the nuclear lobby, which knew the answer from the start: we bury!

a responsible attitude?

when you know that all the waste from neighboring countries will end up in our soil, it kills me to be governed by .... well I don't even know what to think of a minister of ecology Borloo, it's him who had the law changed so that the waste before it was treated at La Hague and returned, stays with us now ... why?

for more money.

what a shame ... yes children we will really have done everything to avoid that.
