Do you consume how much electricity?

by the middle » 03/02/08, 16:48

I just found out, that I'm a glutton for electricity
7400 kw per year, living alone ....
This consumption requires the use of electric hobs, electric water heater (200 liters), 30 minutes of heating the bathroom, every day,
The glutton is the 800 liter aquarium which eats 1700 kw per year !.
pc, 520 kw per year
the 365kw bathroom radiator per year.
It seems that a normal consumption for a family of 4 people is + - 3600Kw ...
So if I count 7400-1700-520, that gives me 5200kw, which is always too much, so I have to look for my other unnecessary leaks.
How much do you eat?

Hello

A statement for the past month heating with the heat pump
earth water and forced air
For a period from January 4, 2008 to February 3, 2008
Hours of heat pump operation 139 hours
at 30 amperes under 220volts single phase
or consumption 917 kwh
Water pumped from the ground 238905 XNUMX liters (exchanger)

Certain night -22 but generally -10 to -5 and sometimes above 0

I find it very interesting although the consumption other exceeds that of heating
Andre
annual consumption for the past year

Please do not confuse kW and kWh

kW is a power
kWh is energy

We CANNOT charge energy in kW ...

Otherwise, we are between 300 and 400kWh per month or 3600 to 4800 kWh per year for 2 people, solar pump (which has consumed nearly 600kWh since May 2007 according to the PM connected to it) and professional part (2 pc 10h per day) included! Vitroceramike kitchen + oven.

André your bill : Shock: : Shock: : Shock:

With us it is € 0,25 per kWh !! For the 2 winter months when you consumed 7400 kWH you would have paid 1850 € (2400 $ Canadian approximately !!) for these 2 months !!

We really live on another planet !!

Hello
André your bill

This is the bill for my house and I am among the good ones, for a guy who heats and cools, all electric (apart from the garage ball burner) although large compressor, heating element lamp 1000 w above the workbench , welding machine, the burner is no longer a toy.
One of my fellow workers a big house, all electric with 400 amperes, in two winter months around 15000 kwh.
When you do not consume enough it monitors your counter, when you consume too much it monitors to see if you are not growing cannabis.
Between 25000 kwh and 32000 kwh for a small all electric bangalow this is normal, there are houses that have no chimney

: Arrow: I fear very much to cross 4000 kwh this year (the long hours in front of my PC screen).
I consumed less than 3300 kwh before the birth of the second child.

Otherwise, heating and hot water with natural gas for 17000 kwh per year.
house from 1976, 2x 45mm of tightly packed glass wool, and single glazing. : Cry:
Big room for improvement possible on this house of 110m².
If finances followed. :|
