Already done (without luxmeter): the cone is stronger than SMD but also narrower.

So interesting for work plans (kitchen, bathroom ...) because the brightness of the center of the cone is very strong.

Hello, I installed xanlite 48 xxx leds I find them superb, they have a very bright whiteness. The only problem is that I plug them into my halogen transformers should I replace them with led transformers? Thanks, have a good day

Yes, the 12V xanlite are intended for direct current. Except the halogen transformers deliver the alternative (more or less clean for electronic models)
For the longevity of your lamps it is preferable to replace the power supply and to choose a model which delivers true direct current (the model proposed by Christophe for example)

"More or less" ... This is precisely the problem but there are others ... see the explanations of velleman here: https://www.econologie.com/forums/transforma ... 10598.html

Conclusion:

a) prohibition to use pseudo-sinus electronic transformers because of the type of signal incompatible with certain components of LED bulbs

d) not recommended to use true sinus ferric transformers because of the power difference requested

I do not know what is the respective% of each transformer on a halogen kit sold new now ... all those I bought recently (Christmas wreath included) are (still?) In ferric ...

Effectively... : Shock:

Would you like to take a picture of the "halogen transformer"?

Otherwise just tell us if it looks like this: https://www.econologie.com/shop/transfor ... p-311.html ?
