Christophe, for the Max voltage of a 12V lead / acid battery, I seem to have read that it was not necessary to exceed 14,7V because after the electrolyte begins to bubble ...
Otherwise for the charge intensity it is advisable not to exceed 1/10 of the battery intensity.
Kind 1Ah Max for a 10Ah Battery ...

To wake up a battery I boost it to the max with a 40 amps power supply but I prevent it from heating up, in a normal charge I agree with Dirk pitt for the 10% amperage of the capacity of drums.

The trick is to charge it with a high amperage and to discharge it with also a max of amperage and to alternate several times, which descales the plates which can thus recover a good part of their property of origin, after they are given a normal charge extended by twice the normal charge but without overheating it.
