I bought more desktop since 2008 ... too energy consuming considering the time I spend per day and night! : Mrgreen:

No "mine": "My computer". A big trick with a "be quiet! Silent Base 802 Window Black Midi Tower"

And 3 times the consumption of a laptop when you're on the forum... or 100 W more ... and I'm not talking about when you play!

So given the time you spend there ... let's say ... 4h per day ... 1500h per year ... It's still 150 kWh of excess consumption "for nothing" just on econolgie ... compared to a laptop connected to an LED screen ...

In short, a gaming desktop is on average 500 kWh per year more than a gaming laptop + desktop!

A laptop is also scalable: the proof is what I have just done!

Except that .... I post via my Intel Nuc which consumes nothing. Lost ! : Mrgreen:
Ps: In winter when I play, the computer (The big one) heats the room (A little).

@Christophe:
How much do you estimate my electricity consumption in "non-game" use?

Uh ... why does GsmartControl divide the BWs by 32? : Shock:
This contradicts your info in GB given by CrystalInfo of 5 TBW a few days ago:

There's a C ... in the soup there!
I explained it above.
Basically: HWInfo that I downloaded, gives me 191Gb for 90h, it was 2GB / hour, much less than Crystaldiskinfo which reads the SMART info.
The concern is that the manufacturers adapt it to their sauce, there is no common standard.

So, to get the real info, you have to follow in real time.
For that, I found another very light software that runs in the background
The basic functionality of the free version is sufficient to estimate the life of the SSD.

1. Install ssdready, run it in the morning, and leave it open all day.
2. At the end of the day, click the Calculate button to estimate SSD life based on your usage. http://www.ssdready.com/ssdready/

I just installed it ... verdict tomorrow
