just an aside of language
the neon tube makes a red light.
What we called "neon", by abuse, in fact are "fluorescent"

Re: Neon that cracks (explodes?) And trips the circuit breaker?
If you do not have the same ceiling height, the measurement at 1 m from the floor is not the same.Christophe wrote:I installed the app and I have exactly the same 8500 at about 20 cm and 800 at 1m from the ground ... under 1 single neon (but the 2 are on, the other is about 3 m away see the config on the photos : https://www.econologie.com/avantages-co ... -halogen /) ...
To avoid the influence of other tubes, it would be best if you both take the measurement 1 m from the tube.
Nevertheless, if the laptops are of different brand and age, the comparison may not be valid without a good calibration ... https://www.lightzoomlumiere.fr/article ... s-du-luxe/

Yes izy I said above that it was only indicative ...
Garage heights are more or less standard eh ...
Well the best is that he tests the led neon ... and we will see his impression ...

Uh .. Do you have an elevator bridge in yours? because what I call my garage ... still increased my housing tax by 300 € per year .... When I attached it to the house after the tenant left ... I specified luminaires at 3 m from the ground ...

Ah sorry, I didn't know you had a Black Garage!
Now what matters is the efficiency of the lighting on the ground.
You know my opinion on LED neon lights ... it's up to you to test ... takes 6 of 50W ... if that's not enough add a few later ...
ps: not seen the 3m ... but osef

If it's 3-year-old tubes on electronic ballasts, you don't necessarily have to change them, the yield loss is not so fastMacro wrote:Uh .. On the other hand, you can add switches so as not to necessarily turn on the 12 tubes at the same time.

The tubes are 3 years old ... But the ballasts are at least 10 years old ...

the separation of the zones is planned ... with automatic ignition when the door is opened

I have electronic ballasts that are more than 10 years old, but they are not worn out.Macro wrote:The tubes are 3 years old ... But the ballasts are at least 10 years old ...

Re: Neon that cracks and blows the circuit breaker replaced by 230V Led Neons
So someone else switched to neon led here?
I continue my exploration of new LED neon lights. I received new models even more powerful integrated on chassis from Silumen: all are directly supplied with 230V AC, integrated transformer therefore!
From left to right :
1) 45W wide pendant light: 120cm * 19cm * 7cm metal frame.
https://www.silumen.com/fr/reglette-led ... 200k_5500k
2) 40W thin pendant light: 120cm * 5cm * 7cm metal frame
https://www.silumen.com/fr/suspension-l ... 000k_8000k
3) 48W curved led strip: 150 cm * 7 cm * 2.5 cm plastic metal frame
https://www.silumen.com/fr/reglette-led ... 300k_3500k
4) 60W curved led strip: 150 cm * 7 cm * 2.5 cm plastic metal frame
https://www.silumen.com/fr/reglette-led ... 200k_5500k
I go up, test this and I will tell you again! I would like to recycle my old flywheel as a "mad max" lighting gantry!
The 60W will snap in my opinion!
