Question about the battery of an ASUS X52F

by Jiangxia » 28/07/14, 06:23

Hello,

I bought last week this laptop Battery: portablesbatterie.com/asus-x52f.html

Reference: ASUS X52F

I read a lot about batteries, but no article really gives the same version. My laptop offers the possibility to remove the battery. Should we do it? On many sites, one can read that Lithium batteries, there is no need. But in this case, why allow it?

Moreover, putting in energy saving mode I can not wait to hold 3 hours without recharging the battery, it seems to me little? For specialists, with this battery, I should be able to hold more?

Thank you in advance.

well you can scratch the energy settings to minimize everything (shutdown hard drives, black screen after 5 min inactivity, processor bridled etc ...)

I have a battery that no longer even 3 minutes, completely naze after 3 / 4 years. Charging often makes her overheat ...

So if you want 3 hours, you're the king of the world. :P

I advise you to leave your battery, in case of power failure, it takes over and you have no windows crash ...

Normally, Lithium do not fear to be fully charged, you just think to unload them a few times a week, and not necessarily too deeply, because it does not like.
