A breakthrough that is likely to have repercussions by 10 years and probably even in the general public: an LED based on graphene and variable color emission!

First color-tunable graphene-based LED is demonstrated

Researchers at Tsinghua University in Beijing have shown that they can be used in a wide range of light sources.

go! three more years, in the middle of coronnavirus, two pieces of information: LEDs are the winners, obviously, but but ...
... the compact fluorescent of my office, carefully maintained by the electronicen that I am and after using good components ...
is still alive

question a 2 balls, what will replace the LEDs (the candle? after the world energy crisis?

Month is the induction lamp (40W) in my garage that is still alive after 6 years of good and loyal service.

The induction lamp is also a fluorescent, with a slightly more robust electrical circuit given for 60000 hours. The current LEDs are given for 15000 hours and I have already had several burnt out, with often the LEDs that burn before the electronics.

When it starts flashing, it won't be long ...
Recently imitation filament lamps, cheap on sale and I understood why:
Measured 140 v at the terminal of a filament, so about 46 LEDs in series, just one that messes around and PAF!

Iso14000, what grids in general in the compact fluorescent circuits? chemical?

yes, in CFLs, what breaks is the buffer cap after the bridge, but also the connection to the tube (the welds break by thermal cycling)

On the other hand I am still looking for the GU10 fluo from philipps ...

I'm waiting for the last OSRAM LEDs and we'll see

Osram will not do a miracle ... we take the bets? If you are looking for GU10, then take GU10 fluo ingenium (yes am a reseller) and you will be quiet for 10 years!

They shouldn't have a long lifespan, since they are 40 leds in series or more?

as for the backlighting of the flat screen panels. Besides, my current TV recovered as irreparable, that's what it cost me: the strips of 48 LEDs.

LG 110 cm diagonal.
In fact, after checking I kept them they were 4 bars of 52 leds, but you have to have space and be organized, a real mille feuille : Shock:
