Yes, but the 9W are the best size.light / price ratio: the 11W of megaman spot are generally too large (the body protrudes too much from the spots) ...

Me it's to replace 40W, so 11w may be too much ... but hey if it's just 2euro between the 2, I don't know which is better ...
11w, they say it's equ. 60w, right?

1) Yes, I am pretty sure. I was talking about the length of the body, not the diameter ... On the link you indicate, nothing says that the 11W is the same size!

Look at the difference between these 2 bulbs:
economic and LED bulbs
https://www.econologie.com/shop/ampoule- ... p-126.html

The body of the 11W variable is much bigger ... the fact that it is variable plays a bit but it is especially the TUBES that take up space. The total length varies only 4 mm but mounted on a spot, the 11W is much "bulky" ...

2) By putting the R50 E14 9W MEGAMAN INGENIUM you will have MORE LUMINOSITY than with a classic 40W ... Which is not necessarily the case with chinoiseries ... it must still exist in chinoiseries! Test and you will see ... I cannot do the test for you ...

I found a Belgian site which sells megaman R50 E14 in 9W and the same in 11W, they speak of the same dimensions, weird ...

I can give you the link, but it's a little competition at your shop there;)

Otherwise, I'm going to take 9W so I think ... if it replaces my 40w it's good

I checked on the official website: www.megaman.de and you are apparently right: the 7, 9 and 11W in R50 E14 have the same dimensions, the "rule" of GU10 does not apply ... Mea culpa therefore!

- MM16532 7W statt 40W Reflektor-AGL 87mm / 50mm (R50)

- MM16542 9W statt 50W Reflektor-AGL 87mm / 50mm (R50)

- MM16552 11W statt 60W Reflektor-AGL87mm / 50mm (R50)

Hey Megaman has just released a GU10 in 14W!
