Seen from here, it's a scarifier: "scrapes" between the grass, pulls the mosses ...

That's it. It is 400W I think.

The front of the garden is scarified (around 200 m²) once a year + addition of limestone in double doses but apparently not sufficient ...

We really have a lot of foam so it's difficult not to scarify.

The big red "rake" is a manual scarifier for very difficult places where the electric scari stalls. (we used it especially the very 1st year when it had not been scarified for years).

In this regard, it is crazy how quickly the foam spreads ...

No fthanron, the Flymo I do not think we can adjust the cutting height (not with our model at least) and it shaves rather "flush" (logical).

No problem for the slope: our land is steep. We don't see it well on the photo but it goes down from where I took the photo.

FYI, I saw it yesterday at 89 € in a brico. It's ugly a flymo but there are some who are 20 years old still running. I don't think he has changed the "mold" or the color since the 80s. Pkoi change a recipe that works? : Cheesy:

Otherwise did you see the photo of our wild garden?

ps: yes it would be good to continue on the other subject.

Yes, seen. If I charge my device, I will take some pictures of our African savannah! Another style.

For foam, a simple and fairly natural product: iron sulfate. She does not like. The grasses don't care. To do with piping to treat roofs in a bricomachine ... Remains to find the dosage (dilution) ... But it is guaranteed and safe ...

You have been warned! :|
Iron sulfate is effective against foam ... a year ...
The problem is that it acidifies the soil, which makes the soil ideal for ... moss ...
Yep ... so that the following year the foam returns even stronger ...
The circle is complete...

Yes, we heard about it, but it’s pretty flat anyway, iron sulphate ...

And if it is valid that one more year ... blah ...

ps: our ground is acidic precisely, 5.5 approximately ...

On my "African" lawn composed of quackgrass, purslane clover and other so-called weed crap ... No need for anti-moss ... And no watering ... No need for a mower for 2 months : Lol:

Yop, good topic launched by citro, last response launched in July 2009.
Are there any feedbacks in this area?
Personally, I have a lot of friends who are very happy with their stuff.
But hey, it's still expensive ...
