Variable speed drive for asynchronous motor

by Christophe » 24/04/08, 13:29

I would like to vary the speed of our solar pump in order to optimize the operation of the system.

The pump is a single-phase 650W guinard pump.

What exists as an apparatus to vary the power of such an engine and at what cost (about?). Thank you

It seems to me that precisely an asynchronous can not see its speed vary electrically ... it would rather an intermittent operation that should be considered?
Otherwise vary the frequency?

Hello,

To vary its speed, it is necessary to straighten and filter the sector,
Then mount a variable frequency bridge chopper.
It is cheaper to carry out 8)

Uh thank you tom but you have more info on it? A website? A map? A soldering kit is even? Or even a dimmer provider?

You can put the EDX-075-21-E, but it's still the same port 150Euros!
right here: http://www.technic-achat.com/boutique/f ... ZwodYi3mxg
If not for the schema I have nothing, maybe nlc could have you that!

You got that who works well
Here is 12roro90 at conrad
For 650w it may be necessary to put a small radiator but it is to see according to the running time

Yes but not the molded triac module is good for brush motors

Did you know what the Altivar range of Schneider Electic? It seems to be very good stuff but probably expensive (my budget is 100 € max) ...

On Ebay we find less than 50 € ...

Thank you, from what I see is what corresponds to the altivars of SE ... and in the 2 cases they speak of output in threephase ... or my motor is powered in single-phase (unless there Have possibility to feed it in three-phase I will look tomorrow ...) ...

So I ask myself: Is that three-phase is a necessary condition to vary the power of an asynchronous motor?
