Have you tried backing up your files, then a complete reset? https://eu.community.samsung.com/t5/aut ... d-p/944266

Yes but blah I would like to avoid going through this ... I have not much to save but I refuse this method, it is up to samsung to do its job correctly or at least to suggest something to solve!
It's not possible ! Isn't that the number 1 manufacturer in the world?

Re: Android 9.0: internal memory full (saturated) on Samsung S8 and it's incomprehensible!?!
Damn that's it I found it !!!
It was the fault of Vision Provider: a hidden system application that I have never installed!
It is linked to this apparently Bixby (which I have never configured or used) installed by default on some Samsung:
It's part of Bixby Vision, so it probably can't be uninstalled. Clear the app's cache / data and it should be fine.
Here is where and how to find this hidden crap installed by default on most Samsung S!
Go to storage
Click other applications
Click on Settings: View system applications (and this is where I understand that it was not showing in Android Assistant!)
Empty that crap!
Hallelujah! My phone is breathing again!
There are other shits of the kind to be removed (deactivate if uninstallation not allowed) or to avoid:

I know izy (I said it above) and Bixby is crap ... never used I don't even know what it's for! And I don't want to know!
Bixby was also one of the negative points of the tests at the time: https://www.lesnumeriques.com/telephone ... /test.html
But an app as famous as Android Assistant should have spotted this crap hidden subroutine!
I would also add in weak point: hardness of the original screen (scratched after a few days in my jacket pocket ... nothing to do with my xperia ... if the screen broke twice, it is because 'he slipped out of my hands!)

Weak points
Bixby, a voiceless and limited landing.

I have no vision ... I did some cleaning on Friday ... I deleted all the photos and videos stored in duplicate and I have some headroom..For information, I don't have a samsung but huawei p smart ... so that I find how to make the photos go directly to the memory card rather than to the storage of the phone ...

The only thing safe in the future. It is that there may chance that it conforms to our expectations ...

Ah ok seeing how you said it, I thought you were also on a Samsoule!
For the storage of media to SD directly it's easy: you manage it in the camera settings (or any other shooting application if you have one installed)
