Bulb GU10 Direct Energie, weird sound
Hello everyone, I bought in a casto the Direct Energy bulbs (they did not know megaman) I have one that makes me a strange noise and that does not light up (after 1 month), it can come from or?

I use Philips or Osram lamps since they exist and I never had bad surprises ... I also have a circolux osram 32w (= 150w halogen) which must be 10 years old ...
2 years ago I started to switch to "daylight" bulbs (6500k), but for it to be really pleasant you need powerful lighting with this type of light otherwise it is awfully pale ... ( not to be confused with industrial white which is quite another thing ...)
The Mégaman are unfortunately very little broadcast and were until now confined in the low powers, but that seems to change because they now make "daylight" of 30w which is much better ...

That's why we decided to work with Megaman for the store: energy saving light bulbs
https://www.econologie.com/shop/megaman ... -p-90.html
For the GU10 model we chose to offer the 9W model, the best compromise between performance and price in our opinion: eco bulbs
Chances are we are offering the 11W model equivalent to a halogen 60W (therefore brighter than the generally mounted 50W)
MM, constantly innovating, even offers a model compatible with voltage dimmers: https://www.econologie.com/shop/ampoule ... p-126.html
Obviously at the price level we are far from Direct Energy I guess ...
Otherwise gregdu13250 the noise comes from a transformer fault, if the bulb has only 1 month you can play the warranty without problem, ditto obviously for the one that does not light up any more! DE bulbs are available in 1st price bulbs, so we should not be surprised by such concerns. Econologically, a fluorescent bulb that breaks after 1 month is a disaster ...

I currently opted for Osram LEDs, because they are manufactured 30 km from my home and I have them at a great price for friends who work there!
thanks to low consumption bulbs and LEDs, we went from a consumption of 3501W with all lights on to 649,6W without changing any lamp!
but all that is not much compared to the consumption of an electric oven, hob or other washing machine, dishes and fridge!
unfortunately, I did not find a great solution!

I didn't know there was an Osram factory in Alsace ... where is it?
I also didn't know that Osram made LED bulbs ... What are your models? (reference?)
