Google Toolbar for Google Chrome does not exist?

I just tested google chrome and apparently there is no (at least officially) google toolbar for ...

A roof not? Or did I miss the checkbox in the chrome options ???

Ok I admit that on this one, I'm an acorn but at least am not the only one ...

yes it's super practical you do your research in the space saving internet address box

but when you are used to firefox it is true that it is confusing

2 or 3 more shortcuts wouldn't be bad

ps: funny, with FF, if you type "keyword" in the navigation bar, you load the page that appears in the 1st google result ...
