Ecowatt 850 capture data, installation problem

by ben837 » 19/03/10, 19:23

Bonjour à tous
I just received the Ecowatt 850
That's what I was looking for, a good estimate of the distribution of my electricity consumption in my various circuits (not to train the distribution company in the courts but sufficient) :D
It worked a few hours on 3ph 380 and everything seems normal
Downside when trying to repatriate data to the PC
When installing the software, Microsoft Net framework 3.5 wants to install at all costs while it is already (With all the latest updates via WinUpdate)
Peripheral Manager is normal with USB serial emulator com4 :|
While it is precisely the analysis of recordings on diagram that interests me
The same tests with laptop PC proved negative
Do you already have this microsoft phenomenon with Win XP pro :|
Yours, but a pity that the logitiel capture is very limited and that Chacon does not think to integrate a wireless weather station at his Ecowatt
It would be perfect for a performance analysis of the PAC because the regulation of my PAC MItsou is not at all adapted to a heating air / air and it is a serious problem to move these big multi while even the schooling of their technicians do not allow them to enter the PID setting of their Par21 controller
I keep searching
For yourself

So:

What is the problem? The app that does not install?

a) if he wants to install Net trick, let him do it no?

b) I am also under XP pro (among others) and I had no problem?

c) I do not quite see the relationship between ecowatt and weather station ... if it would be interesting for electric heating ... but most people will not understand the report I think ...

The net MIcro Net of the installation cd was installed on portable xp pro and no data repatriated because microsoft error of a page
I expect to have data from at least a full day before insisting
On desktop PC he does not want to install it (the net thing)
As for the weather station with the ecowatt is probably not to estimate your fridge and your eco lamps but for the pac and solar, we must not think much to see the advantage especially if we offer this mat with software valid

: Mrgreen: The idea of correlating electricity consumption with weather data is excellent. : Idea:

Your first challenge concerns the repatriation of Ecowatt data on your PC.
Once this question is settled, you do the same thing with weather data which you will be able to aquisition thanks to a data logger of this type:

Available on the shop of the site here. : Arrowl:

Then it remains "only" to manage the data. : Arrowl:

Absolutely Citro, and for the same purpose of diag. weather, there is also the USB memory weather station which even gives the wind refreshment.

The advantage is that T ° inside and outside are measured with the same device (otherwise you need 2 probes).

Here too we can do "what we want" with the data.

:P She is really very complete this station. 8)
Is there a way to export the data in a format that can be used elsewhere? :?:
Unless it is possible to import into the data acquisition program, other data, such as those from ben837. :?:

In the software provided (easyweather) no, one can only treat the data of the station (rather normal) but yes one can export the data of 2 ways:

- Exporting images in graphics format
- Spreadsheet export with choice of separator and format (.xls and .txt)

The .xls and .txt export can be done on 1 or X among all the saved values.

Here is an example of "raw" data before export:

Soon (when I'm at 25% of 4800 points) I will export all the data and I'll swing you a .zip

There was a storm today, I think we should see it on the curves.
