HP in principle is Horse power, horse steam in French
1 hp = 735,498 75 watt

But there is also the Anglo-Saxon value which would be
1 hp = 745,699 8 watt

thank you to you for these lights ...

alain 3hp could suit me if I get 2

give me an explanation of the wiring and a link if possible because I like your idea

Dc ac converter

by bobono » 16/06/09, 22:15

A mess like that must do the trick

This is a three phase frequency converter.

Motor frequency converters start by transforming AC into DC mono to return it to AC with the desired frequency.

With a small pattern it is possible to feed it directly in DC to output it in AC 50 H.

It is quite easy to find this kind of occation dimmer for not very expensive

Boulle

The problem is that the output is three-phase so the maximum capacity is + or - 750 watts per phase which is a bit tight for certain devices.

I have a 750 watt nominal inverter from Black and Decker that I paid 69.95 Cdn at Wall Mart (sorry Christophe and the purists), it is able to run my big fridge with ice machine and most of the electric tools, the only problem is that in France and Belgium there is only a 400 watt model. : Evil:

http://www.blackanddecker.com/ProductGu ... ctID=17929

Otherwise there are 48 DC inverters that can do very well. 912 euros for 1500 watts. Hiiii ......

http://www.onduleurs.fr/product_info.ph ... -1500.html

Or 24 volts DC 2500 watts. 392 euros, which is more reasonable.

http://www.onduleurs.fr/product_info.ph ... -2400.html

Can you give the wattage of the appliance which will consume the most (Washing machine).

Bobono

You can put the DC directly on the AC input, the diodes of the rectifier bridge will not all be used because there is no current inversion.

The price difference between the last 2 is explained by the fact that the 1st is a "pure sine" and the other a "pseudo sine" which must have a curve similar to the one I posted above ...

It is precisely with the motor (fridge for example) that the pseudo sinuses can pose a problem.

For a few months, however, I have been supplying a cellar vacuum pump for the garden with a pseudo sinus ... We will see how long it takes : Cheesy:

Otherwise +1 with the recovery ... to make such a power circuit (especially in pure sine) is madness I think ...

Bonjour Christophe

The pseudo sine is very suitable for motors where power is required but can destroy chopper chargers such as those for laptops or drills, except if it is used at the same time on a resistive load, we can also put a capacitor for stabilize the sinus but we lose efficiency.

I used mine with no problem on a fridge.
