Christophe wrote:+1 for the aquarium: more info ...

It was in my family, a small rectangular aquarium of 40cm.

As for the explanations, the fish no longer gave any sign of life ...

Now for the autopsy? Would you have done it?

Coincidence, coincidence, my eye! Yes! It was the proximity that was the coincidence ..

The fish, according to my nephew, seemed stressed.

Fish become more agitated when there is less oxygen in the water.
This kind of effect could just as easily have been caused by a heat wave or the presence of bacteria in the water.

The only way to be sure is to repeat a double blind experiment with 2 identical aquariums, same water, same temperature, same food etc, one being very close the other very far. Nice subject for a university thesis.

You forgot another parameter: same speed on Wifi :)
In short, the Bandwidth must be milled!

Sorry, but filtering by MAC address is not reliable. MAC spoofing is as easy as IP spoofing.

The only solution to securely encrypt your WiFi is WPA encryption (not WEP) with a fairly solid key (avoid 1234 etc.).

Also try to adjust the transmission power: no need to water the neighborhood if you live in a two-room apartment. You are less likely to get hacked (not easy to hack a network that you cannot pick up) and by force of choice you take less waves in the trombine.
