Mass radiator

by the middle » 26/04/09, 20:29

Hello,
I have a funny idea ...
My house has three heaters:
A wood stove that gives a very good feeling of heat,
Oil central heating ...
A boiler with burner ball, which also heats the radiators.
When I use the radiators to heat the house, I'm not happy; there is always a feeling of cold.
So I thought, why not do a mass radiator, heated with central heating water.
The advantage would be to have a point always hot in the house.
So, I wonder if it is possible to heat in a few hours a package of refractory bricks with water at 60 ° c ......
I'm crazy ? Image :D

:? I put some refractory bricks on a radiator heated to 45 ° c, during 4 hours ... it's bad, brick barely warm.
Think about the palm oil system? it's a track.
Otherwise, I make a mass poel that will be directly ridden by the burner ball ...
