thank you elephant "The sun at your service"
solar interests me too
the "garden" facade of the house is facing south
but...
the roof is not very steep and East-West if I can say (see photo)
Image
I do not have the budget yet but we imagined
an advanced veranda type on the terrace with the slope to the south

NB: the neighbor on the right (left on the picture) cut me the sun on the terrace at the time of the cocktail ... aaah if it was not my uncle I would make him dismantle his hut

Woodcutter wrote:Outside insulation : 90 m² of wall surface (I took the 6.5 * 10 m pif for your home plus a little margin) to insulate in natural materials 12 cm thick to obtain a resistance added R = 3 m², ° K / W. Coated or wood cladding.
Cost about 17 000 € TTC

the 1er quote wood cladding that comes to me from a company in Colmar
(it's at 600km from home)
just plans the supply of cladding (with thermoflex insulation of 60mm - W / mk = 0.050) for 5000 €

the 2nd will be in polystyrene + coating, "pasque dans le coin we haven't really gone to wood ... it's too expensive" (it's a bit sad)

2nd "quote" without moving and without wood cladding
(it's really not fashionable yet here ... pfiou)

"estimate for exterior insulation
about 20 000 € for insulation
cellulose wadding and wood fiber
with a rough plaster.
+ insulation of your attic
insulation with 25 cm of cellulose wadding: 2000 € "

under the roof I'm going to do it myself
since I have 65m2 and a small slant
I put directly under the roof between the beams
and I quote lumberjack
"Insulation of the attic: 30 cm of cellulose wadding ... Estimated cost per ladle € 1800 to € 2000 MAXI including tax on which you recover 25% tax credit."
question if I do myself I recover too?

No because :

The tax credit concerns the acquisition expenses of certain equipment provided by the companies that carried out the work and subject to an invoice, under the conditions specified in Article 200 quater of the General Tax Code. [...] The installation must be carried out by a company and an invoice (or a certificate provided by the seller or the builder of the new dwelling) indicating the characteristics required by the order must be established for the tax services.

Even if some would obviously be able to do it themselves (in particular insulation of lost attics), the tax credit favors the installation by a professional, it is a minimum guarantee of quality and efficiency, and a "proof "that the performances are respected (R, ...), whereas if you do it yourself, nothing proves that the minimum thickness will be respected.
