I rent an apartment very recently classified G. While I bought it in 2012 (classified D) and had everything redone inside by my father (including insulation) who is a craftsman. Without invoice therefore. I do not understand the automatic classification G, perhaps because the new legislation makes that the DPE will be opposable to the diagnostician. So no risk. Because my tenant in place, finds the accommodation rather well insulated and does not spend that much for a 32m2 in energy.

Anyway, anyway, so I have to do an audit. Can the specialist who will do this audit judge the letter established by the DPE?

Another question, my boiler is over 20 years old.
If I change it, does anyone have an idea of ​​the letter winning?

DPE are mostly jokes in France ...

Most are sloppy, very light made by companies of opportunists who prioritize numbers and money, over quality!
They are made by people trained in a hurry who, some do not have the BAC ...

I think most don't know the definition of a Joule ...

My advice: invest a few hundred euros in a real audit, carried out by a real thermal engineer ...

Apparently, there is a law that will no longer allow you to rent too energy-consuming accommodation (this will still be terrible scheming!) Hence your fear I presume?

ps: changing the boiler will not change anything before 1 or 2 seasons because it is on the invoices that a DPE is based ...
