Purchase or construction of a Yurt
Hi Gab,
I was interested in imported yurts. Those where we are
well in real felt and a small stove. But I think that
many are the negatives:
> transport,
> imported wood (which is rare there)
> felt which is not suitable for our too humid climate
So looking for temporary accommodation, I oriented myself
to alternatives like huts to live, yurts
modern, etc ... at low cost.
I finally opted for the recycling of two caravans.
They are opposite and I will close in between with a
structure wood / straw, a roof and a stove for the winter.
Questionable choice. Good looking.

Ok thanks for the information
the imports did not really interest me because not really adapted to our humid climate and also for the history of the wood.
I would have been tempted by French builders not chauvinism but because the materials would have been adapted ..
no info right and left
but no one who has really taken the course
in short, an idea like any other ..

Hello,
friends have a right next door, I go often it's really nice, the floor is parquet, insulated with cork panels, a wood stove was replaced by a wood stove, nice!
There is a 12V battery with 12v lamps, a computer switched socket cigar lighter 12v, we will also make the stereo.
I finish the generator of a wind turbine to recharge the battery (stationary).

Hello !
they are on land purchased for organic market gardening, sloping (they have not thought to put the floor applat, pity), acehtée on order to a French box that does that, + 5000 € of memory, not counting the floor in panels of lière + finish parquet, nor the stove wood recovered ...
I think cheaper in Mongolia? .......
the bamboo is not better, not + strong and imputrccible, there are bamboo everywhere, if 4 years you have yours!
the Indians use it for scaffolding, you can bend it as you want by heating it.
Well, I tell you a house in pailel would be better!
in any case for insulation! because the felt, without heating inside, it is as cold as outside!
the guy from the yurt will propose it for hire / weekend and make a straw teepee / wood structure mezzanine, not bad!
if you want I pass you the phone by MP but you have to inform YOU ;-)
