Water management in the USA

:(

In the United States, there are no restrictions on water use when you own land. Landowners can dig wells anywhere on their land, and they can dig as deep as they want. In Arizona, giant farms are drying up groundwater with impunity. A report from our colleagues from France 2.

and again it is to grow food. In Saint George, Utah, water is used to have green golf greens for retirees, in the middle of the desert

Wasn't there someone who said here not long ago that drilling was ecological?

It's green ... as long as all the wells on the same groundwater do not drain the resource faster than it regenerates ...

In other words: an oil well will never be green, a water well can be ...

Afterwards, when we hear that a single well the bottom can pump more than 2 m3 per second ... : Shock: : Shock: : Shock:

A few years ago I went to work in Miami (Florida). Right in front of the hotel, there was a sort of "park", practically only lawn on x hectares, free of access but totally deserted, watered heavily 24 hours a day to maintain the lawn, on an area ... as far as the eye can see. . In 8 days I saw only one person "enjoying" the park, it was a French colleague who was jogging .... : Shock: : Mrgreen:
They water full and don't even know why ?!
