Sorry, but there I see a huge mistake, low losses are valid for the softener system, NOT FOR the osmosis, I quote. "Water losses because the concentrated that contains all the salts which do not cross the membrane or membranes, representing approximately 25% of the inflow to industrial facilities. This water then contains too much salt for agriculture, and is therefore lost "source = Wikipedia http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Osmose_inverse
In a water softener as explained on Wikipedia, the water coming from the network passes through a resin filter and towards your valves, part of water charged with NaCl salt (+/- 5%) periodically passes through the filter in another axis? and in doing so cleans the cartridge deposits of limestone and other impurities, the method is incorporated into all dishwashers! (I still wonder why not in the lava linen? Too expensive?)
Before washing, it is clearly understood that small amounts of water are injected into the dishwasher and a pump turns a moment BEFORE you start filling the machine in water!
A topic is for years I used the bulk salt, sold in super (hyper) market (20kg bag) food quality (Nezo brand) is selling up cheaper 10X that "special salt tablets for dishwashers "which are a scam to gogo
