So Pascal, we aerates the spirit on the museum of retrotechnology?

It is a great site to recommend.

Here is a small gif of SAERE

hypothesis game and reduction ratio calculation.

by Pascal HA PHAM » 27/07/10, 10:58

Hello Raymond,

come on it's the holidays,

we play with the epicyclic reducer:

if the planetary has 11 teeth, the satellites 22 teeth and the crown 55 teeth.

If in these conditions we block the crown and we rotate the sun gear at 6 revolutions / second ... how much does the planet wheel support rotate?

in joker:
we reverse the number of teeth: the planet goes to 22 and the satellites to 11 .... same question?

Hi Pascal,

first of all, your planetary gear train is viable because if we sum 2 times the number of teeth of the satellite with that of the planetary, we get the number of teeth of the crown ...

This translating the geometric condition:

Rplanetary + 2 Rsatellite = Rcrown

In this case, the parameter L = - Zpla / Zcou is worth 1/5 = -0.2

Well, that being said ...
If in these conditions we block the crown and we rotate the sun gear at 6 revolutions / second ... how much does the planet wheel support rotate?

We have in cases: Omega sat holder = L / (L-1) Omega pla
L / (L-1) is 0.16666 and therefore at 6 rpm, the sat holder rotates at 1 rpm.

in joker:
we reverse the number of teeth: the planet goes to 22 and the satellites to 11 .... same question?

In this case, the spur train is still viable.

The parameter L changes and equals -55/22 = -2.5

We still have cases: Omega sat holder = L / (L-1) Omega pla
L / (L-1) is worth 0.714 = 5/7 and therefore at 6 rpm, the sat holder turns at 4.28 = 30/7 rpm.

2nd hypothesis

by Pascal HA PHAM » 27/07/10, 14:48

cuckoo raymond:
OK for the first goal:
uh?
is there no error in the 2nd calculation:
"L" is - 22/55 = - 0,4

which gives 2/7 for L / L-1
and 2/7 * 6 = 1,714285714 revolutions / second in result ...

no ?

OK Pascal, involuntary reversal of the report ... Shame on me :?

It was to see if you were following :D

Here are all the possible combinations:
Image
Image
The cases you propose are the C5 :
- adjustment shaft (REG: blocked in your case): crown (COU)
- input shaft (PRI): planetary (PLA)
- output shaft (OBT): planet carrier (PST)

The parameter L that I calculate is in fact "the reason for the epi train" and is called lambda in the literature ...

Very good remarks Pascal! : Idea:

Sincerely.

Hello Pascal,

SAERE is a bit on stand-by for the moment, because I am concerned about OPALE and CATHI. I have to start my second 9,45 kWp PV plant.

However, SAERE did not fail to attract the attention of large car manufacturers, some of which are particularly involved in variable valve timing (VVT),

As with many other things, the waiting position prevails until further notice in the industrial world.

However, for good companies, it would take very little time and investment to get out of SAERE in prototype, because it is a simple accessory which can be grafted as well on N cylinder / crankshaft architectures as on unconventional engines ( MPRBC or POGDC).

The SAERE patent is being examined at the INPI; already it came out virgin of all precedence at the first try.

He SAERE, do we miss you? : our TURBICÖNE, ZZ and other TSV to EMGC engines need you in their STIRLING versions ....

Hi Pascal,

will you bleed? :D

But yes, this valve would have many different applications.

INPI Patent link
The SAERE patent is out free of all relevant prior art XY with the INPI. [go to the "36/37 Search Report" tab for the search report].

This means for neophytes, that from the point of view of the INPI, SAERE is a real and innovative technical advance in the field of valves.
