Your valve is a boon for my version of TRILOBIQUE solar steam heater recycled.
:D

Basically, in the organization of my closed water vapor circuit, I lacked this essential accessory: it now allows to reinject well under vapor pressure (even high) the hot water which has been recondensed at the outlet. ..

(for the record see in the discussion thread on the TRILOBIQUE)

The "RECYCLED WATER STEAM" mode therefore becomes a serious alternative to the solar heating STIRLING mode.

Otherwise MOTOS question:
I think that if SUZUKI and YAMAHA had had your SAERE valve in store in the 80s they could have largely improved / made their 2-stroke hypers more reliable:

the Saere could replace the rotary variable exhaust valves on the 4 cylinder V 500 RDLC (YAM) ....
And just as well the discs of the 4 rotary admissions which wear out quickly enough (and therefore lose sealing) on the 4 cylinders in square RG 500 Gama (SUZUK)

By the way I am lucky to have one of these motorcycle jewelry:
It sucks from the point of view of respecting the environment but extraordinary from the fishing point of view .... and above all conceptual / technological .... the apology for mechanical complexity = never again will we do it again .... ecology requires : Cry: : Cry:

I can see that in Formula 1 too .... !!!

A + the valve!

Hello Pascal!

this is a specialist look : Idea:

It's never too late to do it right. SAERE is an eminently flexible valve, both in variable valve timing and in various types of engines, and more generally, engines & pumps.

See you soon Pascal 8)

SAERE After the complete theory, the pedagogy of synthesis ...

Now, we rotate the blue crown at constant speed (rotation from the machine (MAC)), and we gradually increase that the adjustment shaft (from the control (CMD))
Image

We observe 3 typical behaviors:
1. the planet carrier slows down,
2. it stops and
3. it leaves in the other direction.

This opens the way to the dynamic management of SAERE. This control can regulate, in addition to the phase shifts, the cross section of the fluid.

Hence a variable setting ALSO in opening. : Idea:

SAERE After the complete theory, the pedagogy of synthesis ...

Today, imagine that we rotate the adjustment shaft (CMD) according to intermittent speed steps

We can choose this speed in particular so that the planet carrier (PST is immobilized, and fix our shutter (OBT) on the planet carrier (PST) ...
Image

It is observed that SAERE can block the valve in position at any time, and in any configuration ranging from a fully closed to fully open light, passing through all the intermediaries, despite the rotation of the main shaft (PRI here in blue) whose rotation is coming from the machine (MAC)

This therefore allows deactivate the combustion chambers by leaving the intake and exhaust closed.. This is to leave the remaining rooms fully charged, therefore at an optimum specific consumption, even at reduced engine power.

Also, you can play on aerodynamic effects, in combination with the sculptures (SCU) of the shutter (OBT).

In terms of recovery of kinetic energy during braking, certain chambers will be able to function as pneumatic compressors / motors , provided that a small compressed air tank is provided.

Note: Compressing and decompressing air shortly after compression is a quick and easy operation with good overall mechanical efficiency.

SAERE After the complete theory, the pedagogy of synthesis ...

Today, let's have fun driving the adjustment shaft (REG) via the command (CMD) so that it performs a very precise pendulum movement

Image
One then observes a perfect kinematics of type "geneva wheel" also called "Maltese cross (see Wikipedia animations)" : to know a constant angle stage followed by a rapid rotation stage, the whole being periodic and always in the same direction.

This balance movement can be of electronic origin, or else mechanical, for example with a "4 bars" system.

We observe that SAERE can give infinitely varied kinematics, thanks to the adjustment shaft (REG) despite the continuous rotation coming from the machine (MAC)

The kinematics of Geneva therefore makes it possible to rotationally lock the shutter during compression *, and open it even faster for intake and exhaust.

* Proposed by Muellers, Mellors and Dennisson, with different technical choices before 1950, to eliminate friction during pressure peaks : Idea:

SAERE After the complete theory, the pedagogy of synthesis ...

Today, let's have fun driving the adjustment shaft (REG) via the command (CMD) so that it performs a speed modulation 0 to Vmax, then back to 0

Image
We observe on the output (Shutter) a slowdown, a stop, a reverse, then the situation returns to the initial speed as soon as the adjustment stops.

This original law can be used to close or open the valve by playing with very few peripheral sculptures of the shutter (at most only one!).

Dear econologist friends, almost everything has been said. A short summary ? Here it is...

Hello Econologists,

A synthetic article on the Anti-Erosion Valve with Epicyclic Rotations (SAERE) was published on The Invention-Europe Portal.

For those looking for an accessible summary, this is an opportunity to find one. :P

rotary disc power

by Pascal HA PHAM » 20/04/10, 07:07

Hello Raymond,

Look at this:

Image

The SAERE spoupapes would probably have been of good quality on this engine!

It is a 4 cylinder 2 stroke SUZUKI in Carré year 1980,
in my youth I worked and drove motorcycles equipped with this kind of multicylinder, the ultimate in power = 95 hp for a 500 cc in the consumer version and more than 3 hp in the grand prix version ... .

That's 190 and 280 hp per liter respectively!
the admissions in the lower part of each cylinder are controlled by thin rotating discs in sheet metal, guided by cork surfaces !!!!
I do not tell you the longevity of the thing ..... it wore out quickly!

If only they had fitted SAERE valves instead!

There was also the 4 cylinder 2-stroke YAMAHA RDLC:

Image

This time it is the exhausts which are controlled by rotary valves to obtain more torque at low revs.

in pieces this gives:

Image

The 500 4 Cylinders in V RDLC? the most sophisticated 2-stroke engine ever!

It was mounted on top = road version:

Image

While waiting to see the rotary engine of our friend Jean Claude ...

Yum yum more!

Thank you very much Pascal for your message.

It puts perfectly into perspective the technological backgrounds of SAERE, their possibilities and limits ... and the gains that SAERE should bring.

I must admit that currently, I work in a completely different register ... and I have just succeeded. here is a 144 m² photovoltaic prototype fully automated ... OPAL from Sycomoreen.
