So that may come from that ...

The tests initiated by Maloche have been from the beginning on common rails ...

Finally there is some good to the electronization of the engines : Cheesy:

Hello I just read a part (small) of this discussion that I just discovered; I have a Ford FOCUS turbo diesel 2005 205 000 km, do you think it is possible to test with this model 5% with SP95E10?

Yeep, good morning Christophe and the other econos!

Some time that I was not connected and I discovered your new conso that interested me! good my vehicle being rather static for the moment, I added 5L of SP95 on a full 70L, and I have traveled only 150 kms for the moment because in works, I have no computer board which tell me my cons (Merco 316CDI 2002)

I would see donations later, hoping that you are by then other figures ... In fact it is a direct injection your car?

Yes it's a common rail like HDI, DCi, Tdi ... (Fiat engine), there is a lot of chance that this trick only works with common rail ... that constantly regulate the injection ... conventional diesel is much less regulated.

One last interesting figure: I rolled with 5% of SP95 (I made a lot of GO at 1 / 2 tank or I had 10%) and I went down to 4,8L / 100 according to the computer on 300 km ... I gave 100% GO (full on the highway in Luxembourg, impossible to take 2 different fuels) and 4,8 L / 100 it is reassembled instantly (Reset of the counter conso) at 5,2 L / 100 ...

The next full one I do so at 5% ... be 3L of SP for tank 58L ... which seems to be the best result for my engine ...

5% seems the best setting: I fell to 5L real (= according to the computer AND at the pump) ... with a low tip to 4,6 L during 200 km ...

Not bad for an old 230 engine 000 km and 14 years ... and 1,6 especially ton!

And you??? I feel a little lonely on this subject right now ... in the context of yellow vests it's a shame !!

Bah not you not alone since I read you! : Mrgreen:
I left my camper for the CT, so few km and I have 4% of SP95, so I do not have any values of conso for me, especially since I have no computer to tell me this conso : Shock:
The CT is virgin, no pollution exceeding the standards, it's already that, but when I spoke to the controller of my 4% SP, he made me : Shock: "houlà, you take risks with your CDI"!
For an average consumer, I could calculate it only by making several full on a big trip : Wink:
The next full will be with SP85 compared to the octane number that you indicated ...
But you're right, it would be interesting that there are other feedbacks, we must not be the only ones : Cheesy:

yes thank you but 2 is not that heavy ... :?

Your controller is a fun ... : Cheesy:

SP85 I do not know ... E85 do you mean? : Idea:

In a few days the actual numbers of the full 5% ... I have 150 km left to do 8) and the computer oscillates between 4,9 and 5,0 ...

ps: I do not know if doing it in a camper that does not move often is a good idea (stability of the mixture) ...

Hello Christophe, nice conso! yes for me it's not really much for now, but when I move it is 5 8 full, and 80-90 L memory, it counts a little, and then, I hope especially less pollute ( would I make any ideas to you?
So I'm interested with your tests 8)

If you consume less, you pollute less ... of course!

This is valid for all types of consumption ...
