I suggested this generator for the simple reason that we can vary the voltage with the excitement to bring it back to that of the motor controller!
By adding some power diodes and some capacitors we convert the alternating current into direct current as in a simple power supply!
Three-phase is preferable to single-phase for several reasons:
The yield, spread over three phases is (I think) greater than single phase.
The rectification will be easier and "cleaner" with less powerful capacitors
I saw that fast charging terminals used dodecaphased transformer which we can easily imagine the shape (linearity) of the output signal. : Idea:

Hi citro!

It's not Lamure who wrote but me! OK its not a big deal!

It is sure that the ideal is three-phase but is it possible to find in Europe a gen 220 3 phases with a neutral or found between the neutral and phase + or - 120 volts?

Well, I do not understand your question. :?:
Three-phase groups are common here.
After that you may be referring to their star or triangle wiring. :?:

Point on the i:
in Europe EDF and compatible generators are with: a 380V gen 3 phases with a neutral or we find between neutral and phase + or - 220 volts and not 120V as in the US !!!!

Hi Citro!

Here the three-phase groups are in 550-600 volts and to reduce the voltage one must use a transformer, it applies to very powerful group.

I know that it is possible in France to have 220 or 230 with + or - 115-125 volts between the neutral and one of the phases, is it available as a generator at home?
