While surfing, I found this montage.

The same with generator + battery (bad quality)

Are you guys doing dry stuff?
Stirling Generator + + Rocket Stove
Yes
phil53 wrote:Superb demonstration, on the same principle but using the heat of the sun, it would get electricity in areas of hot countries that are devoid of electricity.
Technology is simple people could take ownership of it
hi phil
The problem is to find plans to reproduce the system.
The vast majority of guys make directly with what they have on hand.
If you look at the guy's youtube channel, you'll see he made a mix rocket stove + sterling + central water heater.

if not a better video sterling + rocket stove: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=P67QOG07yfI

Solar Stirling more energy efficient than panels
http://www.enerzine.com/1/4165+Record-d ... ling+.html
http://cleanergy.com/media-library/news ... l-damberg/
thanks also to the joint use of the linear alternator
In amateur without machine bench, not obvious

There is no plan but almost and no need to have big equipment to make it: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HqdoCzNAzHM
And there is a model with a linear alternator made by high school students http://lyc71-jaures.ac-dijon.fr/archive ... 1/ens1.htm

The Stirling is being outperformed by the C-PV 46% yield panels.

I do not need to give the benefits: there is no need any more room / s in motion ...!
There are several poles of research on this advance, so it is not just a hope made in the laboratory that we will hear more about (they are already testing industrial pre-production phase for the link above. )

It dates a little your info and it concerns solar cells for concentration and measurement made in the lab. It was a stack of sub-cells. http://www-leti.cea.fr/fr/content/downl ... ell-FR.pdf
Nothing new since?
It would be interesting to have a comparison in real, or better, a combined system or the thermal part would go through the stirling to be converted into electric.
Still a lot of unknowns

Big question
Certainly, there is surely better compared to what our Romanian friend who manufactures at the bottom of his workshop but in terms of price, in view of the recovery to manufacture his rocket stove and stirling there is no photo, it is a unbeatable ratio.
And he's not joking about the thickness in terms of durability the obsolescence him he does not program

I've been around solar stirling for a long time
the output is not important because there is no meter on the sun ... a low yield stirling could be more profitable than an overpriced strirling has better performance
but alas the reality is very sad: any stirling is more expensive to build than buying a photovoltaic panel
20 years ago I thought that striling could be more profitable than photovoltaics provided that it is optimized and built in series, but since the price of photovoltaics has dropped steadily ... so solar stirling is getting further and further away more profitability
the stirling can seem profitable to the one who has an abundance of material of recovery, and want to tinker everything ... but it must not be forgotten that in the poor countries that need it there is no possibility of recovery like at home we

Hi Chatelot
It's true that the Stirling does not run the streets.
Is it a problem of reliability in time?
Is it a question of power output from the system that is limited?
In any case to produce electricity November, December and January in Calvados there is no photo the photovoltaic belongs to the field of the decoration of roofing
