Finally, we will be able to bloom and all seasons plants by genetic manipulation of their biological clock whose different genes are now known:

Warming: flowers on an apple tree in summer, 30 August !!
I saw a daisy this weekend and ate wild strawberries.
By cons in the region (the Lot, known to be relatively cold in winter) there are plenty of small oaks between 2 and 4 years who have spent all winter keeping their leaves.
I have one in front not far from the house, I observed it well until July, the leaves not too damaged of the winter (especially the attacks of insects) remained in the spring, the germ bud supposed the eject remained in place, proof that these leaves are still active.

There are many species of oaks, particularly Mediterranean, persistent (a common green oak Quercus ilex), which keep their leaves in winter supporting frost, others that do not fall before the end of winter (in the Paris region), so it's not very surprising. The Lot has a variety of altitudes, I do not know what kind of oaks it is, maybe the famous truffle oak in the Lot, rather rickety, on very calcareous land ????

It is found, for example, in the Collinean stage (calcareous soils of the south-west, eg, Périgord, Quercy)

The truffle tree is usually a pubescent oak (Quercus pubescens), a holm oak (Quercus ilex)

Article on the consequences of the mildness of this early winter in the UK:

Unusual November Warmth Tricks Plants, Animals Into Springtime Behavior
In the UK, are flowering plants, collecting and collecting nectar
Some of the warmest early weather on record with plants and animals behaving oddly in the UK.
Flowers, insects and birds have been among the lifeforms observed in unusual patterns of behavior, in England, the UK 's Daily Mail said on Monday.
The UK Met Office pegged average central England temperature for the first half of November at 10.7 degrees C, or 51 F.
Weather data collected by AccuWeather.com show that, in London (Heathrow Airport), the average November temperature as of Nov. 13 was 12.1 degrees C (53.8 F), or 3.7 degrees C (6.7 F) above normal. This would be comparable to normal weather during the first half of May or early October.
Highest November temperature so far 18 degrees C, or 64 F.
According to the Daily Mail, some flowers have bloomed at second time, apparently spurred to do so by the warmth. Crickets, grasshoppers and frogs have been heard calling. Bees have been sighted collecting nectar.
Continuing warmth rivaling that of the month thus far 2011 into the books as one of the warmest ever. Already, 2010 has had the sixth warmest October, the Daily Mail said.
Stubborn southerly and southeasterly, AccuWeather.com forecasters believe.
Forecast information available at AccuWeather.com shows that above-normal temperatures over the UK as a whole.

This continues (so much better for heating bills by us ...): http://www.lafranceagricole.fr/actualit ... 50774.html
An exceptionally hot November and autumn 2011 (Météo France)
France has had an exceptionally hot and extremely dry 2011 autumn over much of the country, with November being the second warmest since the beginning of the 20th century, Météo-France reported on Tuesday.
The average monthly temperature in November 2011 "is expected to be close to 2,9 ° C above the 1971-2000 reference average", which should "place it in second place in the hottest November since the beginning of the 20th century, after November 1994 (+ 3,3 ° C) and in front of November 2009 (+ 2,7 ° C), according to a provisional report published by Météo-France.
Over the entire season, the average temperature "is expected to exceed the 2,2-1971 reference average by about 2000 ° C, setting the 2011 fall as the second warmest fall since the beginning of the twentieth century, behind 2006 (+ 2,8 ° C) and in front of 2009 (+ 1,5 ° C) ".
Although the autumn rains have been "markedly surplus in the Mediterranean areas", precipitation is on the other hand "very largely deficient everywhere else", with deficits higher than 50% or even 60%, in the west, south west and north-east of France.
"The Mediterranean areas have been largely watered with quantities of water, which alone are enough to reach the normals of November," said Michel Schneider, climatologist at Météo-France.
"The rest of the country is clearly in deficit in terms of precipitation, with a very large deficit on the 4 / 5 of France," he adds.
The deficit of rainfall over the first eleven months of the year is of the order of 25%, the equivalent of 1989, the driest year, he notes.
While 2010 was in France the coolest year of the last two decades, tied with 1996, all the months of the year 2011 were warmer than normal (reference average 1971-2000), with the exception of July.
Even if "the month of December may very well moderate the diagnosis (...) 2011 will be a hot year, probably among the three warmest years since the beginning of the twentieth century," concludes Mr. Schneider.
World: 13's hottest years concentrated on 15 last years, says WMO
The world's warmest thirteen years have all focused on the last fifteen years since 1997, the World Meteorological Organization (WMO) said on Tuesday as climate talks on climate change in Durban, South Africa ).
The average temperature of the last decade (2002-11), "0,46 ° C higher than the long-term average" is the highest ever, equal to the 2001-2010 decade, the agency said. UN specialized in weather data, in a paper presented in Durban.
After a record 2010 year, the year 2011 is at this stage the "tenth warmest in the world" since the beginning of the 1850 surveys, but especially the hottest in relation with an episode "La Nina", a a cyclical phenomenon that is accompanied by generally cooler temperatures, she said.
Over the January-October 2011 period, the planet's thermometer shows a "positive anomaly estimated at 0,41 ° C relative to the annual average of 14,0 ° C for the 1961-1990 period," said WMO.
