well at the same time if there was already a record at 37,2 ° C recorded in summer I do not see what it is so extraordinary ....

But of course, and when it is at 38,7 it will not be extraordinary since the previous one was at 38. When it will be 39,3 it will not be extraordinary since the previous one was at 38,7. I continue until 41 ° C or you finished ridiculing yourself publicly?

well yes i confirm, what would be catastrophic or extraordinary? when it's hot it's hot! I always heard that in Siberia it was very cold in winter and very hot in summer since I was little

Obviously it continues, proof that ridicule does not kill especially when it serves climate denial ... : Mrgreen:

The enemy of the moment is methane: https://www.lexpress.fr/actualite/socie ... 30858.html

Methane emissions, powerful agent of global warming, in sharp rise

While 40% of these emissions are of natural origin (emissions from wetlands in particular), around 60% are due to human activities.

It is a much more powerful greenhouse gas than CO2. Global methane emissions increased by 9% between 2006 and 2017, mainly from the energy and agriculture sectors, according to a study published on Wednesday.

Easier said than done ... most of the natural methane being diffuse ... natural composts (especially in the Amazon ... the false lungs of the Earth), peat bogs, permafrost hydrates ... etc ...

Ditto for human emissions, excluding human industrial leaks: recovering methane from human farts or livestock, seems complicated to me ...

However we could burn them at the source : Cheesy: : Cheesy: : Cheesy: Better than nothing...

The H2 pathway reinforces atmospheric methane!

Mining leaks are unfortunately difficult to recover, precisely because they are leaks ... As for breeding, the simplest is to reduce livestock, even if the farmer can rely on science to optimize feeding and have less fart gas on his animals. But it will remain limited.

The methane from breeding I'm not sure that most of it is linked to flatulence from the livestock ... in my opinion it is mainly the natural "work" of the effluents (slurry / manure)

If, farts are the number one source, then it is the crops to feed them and the effluents (the latter can be recovered by methanation precisely, so there is room for improvement).

A source perhaps? The subject interests me, I would like to see it more clearly with more or less validated figures.
