Oh, yes, it reminds me of memories in Paris!
-15 ° C in full sun in the middle of the day with a cold Siberian 3 weeks, the frozen Seine like the ocean at the North Pole, with huge blocks of ice, but less snow than in Bordeaux !!.
Skating on all the lakes of Paris !!
It froze in the houses !!!

This year is Paris under water, water, water ...

And it's the same level as 1910: climate-change-co2 / the-flood-of-2018-are-so-serious-than-those-of-1910-en-term de-t15530.html rainfall

Yes, of course, but I speak at the climatic level, ie the height of the precipitations, not at the flow level of the Seine in Paris (which only concerns Parisians, the climate concerns humanity)

We continue there stp: climate-change-co2 / the-flood-of-2018-are-so-serious-than-those-of-1910-en-term de-t15530.html rainfall

Ile-de-France paralyzed by the snow: scandal or fatality?

Snow: "I took 7 hours to get home, and I abandoned my car"

It's hard to deal with ... a few natural elements ... when you spent your life getting away from it more and more ...

and the mudguards get smaller and smaller ... so you can not even put chains in easily

do not put any simple chain ... you need very fine and very expensive specialty channels

when I was a boy, the buses and trash trucks had chains when there was too much snow ... there was even snow throwing on the garbage truck ... double use!

now the material is modern plus it is good for nothing ... so the RATP stops its service when there is 5 cm of snow

Christophe wrote:Put Nokian 4 seasons the Parisians !!

They behave really well: nouveaux-transports/montage-2-pneus-4-saisons-goodyear-vector-4-seasons-g2-avec-2-pneus-ete-t15410.html

I have been driving M + S or “winter tires” all year round for 12/15 years. Currently these are Michelin Latitude. Personally, I would never dare to drive on snow or ice with ordinary tires. The 4 seasons like the Pirelli are very good but they have their limits.

We can perfectly ride all year round in winter tires. Norauto, of course, discourages it, they want us to change ... :)

I think on the ice, the real ... It's damn in all cases eh! : Mrgreen:

M + S all year round is still not terrible: the wear in summer is much more important! I did it once (to "see") and I think I lost within 10km of wear ... (out of around 000)

Better to take a real 4 seasons because since 4-5 years they are starting to be really good quality!

The Nokian WeatherProof (Finnish, so the snow they know ...) that I mounted win almost all the tests (including rigorous German tests ...)

To tell you: I want (well) better the road with traction with 2 tires 4 seasons ahead and 2 tires summer behind a 4 snow tires propulsion!
