Anyone who blames RC for the companies who mined the fossils they've used their whole lives are just big, hypocritical nazes.

Of course, there is no difference between being a user uninformed of the consequences of their actions and a company informed of the consequences, which deliberately deceives the user? : roll:
How do you manage to be rotten like that? Is there no mirror in your house?

ah well we knew in 1970 all the consequences of the RC?

you mean that all the research we have funded since has been for nothing since we already knew everything 50 years ago?

And if not, today, the argument "we did not know is no longer valid", for example you are perfectly aware that there is a RC, and you are also perfectly aware that the internet produces so much CO2 than aviation, then, why do you continue to use the internet, and for example posting links on videos without interest but which generate a lot of traffic on the network?

there is no mirror in your house either?

(And Bouzo to gagatize even more with his lousy arguments, always the same in a loop ...)
Climate change has been supported by science since the XNUMXth century.

What are the major challenges of COP 26 and the fight against global warming? Lighting with Jean-Baptiste Fressoz, environmental historian, CNRS researcher, co-author of “Les Révoltes du ciel. A history of 2020th-XNUMXth century climate change ”(Seuil, XNUMX).

ABCile is worth all the CNRS researchers on its own:

No region of the world is spared by climate change and the responsibility for human activities is no longer in doubt. The hour is serious, and humanity must react without delay.

Is the warming racing?

This article is taken from the dossier “Climate: our future in question”, published in n ° 11 of the journal Carnets de science (CNRS Éditions, in bookstores on November 4).

On August 9, hearing the members of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC) talk to the media around the world about the first part of their new report (the sixth of its kind since 1990), even the least warned said the matter must be serious. No need to deny it: the matter is serious. Hence the shocking headlines of the dailies the next day: “Our societies summoned to act” (Le Monde), “Au pied du mur” (La Croix), “Au bord du gouffre” (Liberation)… “This report based on the evaluation of 14 studies published and approved by 000 countries is not more alarming than the previous ones, but much more scientifically sound, comments Jean Jouzel, former vice-president of the IPCC and member of the Academy of Sciences. It does not call into question any of the previous conclusions of the IPCC but details them, refines them, enriches them, which undoubtedly explains the concern it arouses. "

The greenhouse effect that naturally regulates the planet has literally been racing over the past four decades, the last of which is quite possibly the hottest in 100 years.

This concern was reinforced by the serious climatic events that occurred this summer, such as the heat domes that appeared on the American continent and the Mediterranean basin, the destructive floods which hit Germany and Belgium, or the mega-fire which raged on the different continents. Gone are the days when the President of the United States could shamelessly call global warming a “hoax”, and climate skeptics called their opponents… “nasties”. Of course, the Earth's climate has never been stable and has fluctuated naturally for millennia.

But the greenhouse effect that naturally regulates the planet has literally been racing over the past four decades, the last of which is quite possibly the hottest in 100 years. Dizzying warming, a real breakthrough on geological scales, has therefore been underway since the beginning of the 000st century, 2020 having joined 2016 on the podium of the hottest years.

Anthropogenic overheating

that still doesn't give me a damage figure. You can say the same for car accidents, obesity, or addiction to social networks: no region of the world is spared and responsibility for human activities is beyond doubt!

that's not why we immediately conclude that we have to stop everything ...

How accurately has temperature been measured for 100 years and how?

1) How does this relate to my question, I was asking how we knew that "the last one is quite possibly the hottest in 100 years." ?

2) who said 7 billion human lives were at stake? for example you, I understand in a pinch that you have a (very low) risk of dying from covid, but how do you imagine that you would die from CR?

for info, climatic disasters cause around 10 deaths per year (no more than the flu in France) and do not appear in any way among the main causes of death

https://www.who.int/fr/news-room/fact-s ... s-of-death

moreover obviously there have always been catastrophes, even before the RC, so it should only contribute to a fraction of these.
