like all alternatives to fossils finally: we can do otherwise, but more expensive and in less quantity. It's okay, there will just be more poor and fewer rich.

You have to read everything ... You have to produce in large quantities which lowers costs ....

it can lower costs, and still remain more expensive and in less quantity!

why do you think we get tired of digging deeper and deeper and with more and more complicated techniques to scrape what remains of fossils, if we could do the same with the biomass on the surface of the Earth?

Tell me ... Can the oil lobby be the reason? ... Why don't we start using alternative methods to save this fossil fuel ...

The day when there will be no more asphalt there will be no more road !?
Is it for a question of cost (current since if we produce more we can reduce production costs) we can poison the citizens who live around the 500 asphalt plant in France? Without counting the workers

There are filtration systems that prevent this https://www.desotec.com/fr/carbonologie ... -de-bitume

It's good !!! A company that sells filters, offers its services ... Very good. I live in a valley in Savoy where the topography and the masses of air stuck to the ground mean that the height of the chimney does not change much. And bitumen smells are common.

Yet Cécile Duflot, Director General of Oxfam France, assures us that "even if all citizens were exemplary [...] we would achieve a quarter of the objectives of the Paris agreement to remain under two degrees." To ensure the rest of the objectives, it is therefore necessary to change things at the structural level, at the level of public policies.

"The Affair of the Century is a thunderclap which I hope will be a start, but it is also the result of inaction for many years."

Cécile Duflot, Executive Director of Oxfam France
