There is "little time" left to avoid the "serious, widespread and irreversible" effects of global warming. This is the main conclusion of the fifth report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change, released on Sunday and more alarmist than ever. The solution has been known since the 80s at least: the spreading of particles allowing to increase the albedo (reflecting power of a surface) of the Earth's atmosphere.
it is the only credible solution in terms of efficiency, the fertilization of the oceans with iron having been a bitter failure.
