[Debunked] A liner or freighter pollutes as much as 1 million cars...and 1000 tractors? Really ?

Permanently injecting SO2 (SOx?) Limits the effects of global warming ... and therefore large freighters, ships and liners that use heavy fuel oil or other fuel that is not desulfurized contribute to limiting the greenhouse effect!

TEMPORARILY of course ...

I do not understand this reasoning well?

Freighters also emit a lot of CO2 ...

it depends if you compare versus using clean fuel oil, or versus not sailing!

Yes, but SOx largely compensates for their CO2 ... : Mrgreen:

But read again above: most SOx come from volcanoes ... (which also emit CO2, it seems to me ...)

You want to solve the greenhouse effect: cause big volcanic eruptions! : Mrgreen:

but the proportion is not at all the same ... there are traces of sulfur in the fuel oil, whereas anyone who has visited volcanic regions knows that it stinks of sulfur (showers in Iceland that smell of rotten egg, it's common)!

Yes that's what I'm saying!

Most of it comes from volcanoes ...

Rolalala there are some who are looking for the little beast here (but we've known for a while !!)

With regard to volcanoes, the sulfur they release remains a huge problem for living things (formation of sulfuric acid droplets) and it is also but above all the particles that can create a "volcanic winter".

Corsica linea baptizes its first LNG vessel "A Galeotta"

Posted on 23/11/2021 lemarin

The future flagship of Corsica Linea, the first LNG to serve Corsica, has just been baptized. Launched in September, she will begin her sea trials in May.

The name A Galeotta, chosen in the spirit of the last to enter the fleet, the long-term charter A Nepita, is historically that of an XNUMXth century Chebec, a small three-masted ship emblematic of the island's commercial heritage, known for its speed. and its maneuverability, specifies the owner. “The choice of 'A Galeotta' for our liquefied natural gas powered vessel echoes Corsica's maritime trade tradition, which is often overlooked,” he underlines.

The A Galeotta, whose construction phase can be followed on a dedicated Corsica linea site, will begin sea trials in May, with delivery expected in July.

The ''Old Blue'' which burned 20% crude oil and 80% salt water
In the past, there were carburetors, then fuel injection. Now exists the GEET Fuel Processor which is a new type of carburettor.
Pantone says: “There was no research done into burning fuel under pressure below 14,7 psi. This explains people's disbelief, but yet it works. The technology used is a combination of classical thermodynamic principles.
This device will allow people to regain a certain power: the economic production of their electricity and will empower them by reducing the consumption of fossil fuels and pollution. Energy supplier services, communities can fully benefit from this technology by operating their power stations, desalination and pumping facilities, etc. with toxic fuels recovery. This would avoid possible accidents due to coast-to-coast transportation, as local waste treatment facilities are much safer for the public.
