Yes especially as the roads are "curved" so difficult to scrape "uniformly" but 1 cm in the end is not 5 cm ..

With 1 cm you roll on the bitumen, with 5 you roll again on the snow ...

Do not worry Christophe, it's not unique to France or Belgium, here it's the same.

Here is a little more than a month alternating snow / ice, without it melts, and you do not have to be pedestrian, because nothing, but then nothing is done to clear the sidewalks (already 'As normal, it's not too recommended to be pedestrian ... :?).

For the roads, it was laborious, but now, in the day following the snowfall (if of course it does not happen during the weekend :? ), maybe we have gravel or a plow tractor. Our street is never clear, I got bogged down several times (despite my snow tires, rides mandatory early November here).

And in Germany, no such thing as salting.
Demerden Sie sich with your compulsory snow tires!

It would surprise me that in all Germany nothing is done to clear the roads ...

We're not talking about salting there ... but about a quasi Menfoutism of our dear Walloon leaders ...

There is more money, we paid too much for labs and banks ...

you know, salting is not a panacea, because it often causes very tricky ice in the early morning...

Especially with a dark road that suggests that there is no ice.

Personally, I prefer my layer of snow where my snow tires bite a minimum and where I can be wary just with the color of the road.

Just avoid 50 drift of soft snow where you put the car ...

So the snowplow policy of the Germans is not so stupid. 8)

In any case we can see the bitumen on our street!
I assume that trucks are no longer blocked.

So much the better ... but then he reneige so see more!

My pellets come from Belgium ...

dry down Monday, I had to buy bags to make the connection, until the truck can leave Belgium or it was not possible to drive.

It's all the more stupid that there is a deshy three miles from home, but that delivers the m ... that closes the plate of the burner. I only tried once!

My supplier managed to come on Tuesday, he was stuck at home since Friday.

How your troubles have come so far.

Are these bad weather exceptional or not? It is true that investing in a blade for a situation that happens only every ten years ...
