No animal products, we don't know how to keep them for a long time without dangerous products.TATAMI wrote:Hello everyone, I want to isolate myself attics lost, do you have opinions and preferences on these different insulators:
- Métisse, insulation with solidarity fiber
- bati'plum
- hemp wool
thank you for sharing with me your opinions
Then:
- Métis, you do an action to help Emmaüs in its activities, and in addition it is quite dense so better phase shift
- Hemp wool, you participate in helping an agriculture which requires very few inputs and is content with poor soils. By cons very light material little protective in summer.

We use it, for us, it's a local product (made in Beaujolais ...).TATAMI wrote:and also, would you have an opinion on the insulation isonat buitex ???
The concern is the 15% polyester fibers ...

Otherwise, the characteristics are the same as the wood fiber, a little cheaper than the "big brands" ...

Hi Lumberjack. Indeed and it seems a paradox (you say that for comparison, do not understand) could you develop? Thank you so much.

Protection against heat in summer in the home is provided by the phenomenon called phase : this is the time it takes for the heat wave created by the tile which receives the sun's rays (which can heat up to more than 70 °) to pass through the insulation before arriving in the room.Obamot wrote:Woodcutter wrote:- Hemp wool, you participate in helping an agriculture which requires very few inputs and is content with poor soils. This phase shift is a function of 3 factors: the intrinsic qualities of the materials expressed by the thermal mass capacity (quite little different for all materials based on vegetable fibers, but still ...), the coefficient of thermal conductivity and the density.
Hemp wool has a relatively low density (especially flexible rolls) and a lower thermal mass capacity than wood fiber, which means that at equal thickness, its efficiency in summer can be lower by more than 50%. to that of wood wool.

exterior façade insulation
Hello,
I am looking for a good insulator for a pinion that is exposed to rain regularly. I have friends who have put clothes on their homes and I admit that they are not disappointed and that aesthetically I like it very much. They told me it was very easy to install and I went to "myral" to find out more.
But here I would like to have other opinions on this product so do not hesitate to talk about it with me.
Thank you and good day

Hello everybody,
near my house, there is this:
http://www.alise-ateliers.fr/?goto=2&art=000001
workshop for inserting / recovering cork / shredded corks into loose insulation
I said :
1 - recycled material is better for the environment than recyclable material
2 - cork is also recyclable, and a good insulator
3 - reinsertion, which is not bad either
price: 110 € HT / m3 (i.e. for a thickness of 20 cm: 22 € HT)
it seems interesting to me, what do you say?

Hello,
A small update is needed about the price! Just look at how we arrive at the end 2009:
http://www.isolation-ouate-cellulose-vendee.com/
Sorry to say, but it turns into apostolate at this price! The econology, that's fine, but the means are not expandable (we are not traders!).

New on the site
This is what Christophe wrote last year:
Note that this price does not include installation, so after it is the craftsman who assesses his workforce as he wants. And then blue sky partner it pays
I wonder besides if there is not a little truth in what I say?
Besides, I still haven't understood what EDF bleu ciel is doing, its mission, its usefulness ????
In short, you have to make the competition play, but that in France we don't know how to do, one aligning with the prices of the other so as not to win less; They didn’t understand that by lowering the prices they would have more work so they would earn more; believe that they have enough work. And worse it must be said that some customers will manage to swallow that what is more expensive is necessarily better, will understand ... there's only to see what is happening in photovoltaics.
By cons I have a friend in Vendée who practices VERY reasonable prices in PV mounting, if it interests someone.
