Protection against heat in summer in the home is provided by the phenomenon called phase : this is the time it takes for the heat wave created by the tile which receives the sun's rays (which can heat up to more than 70 °) to pass through the insulation before arriving in the room.
This phase shift is a function of 3 factors: the intrinsic qualities of the materials expressed by the thermal mass capacity (quite little different for all materials based on vegetable fibers, but still ...), the coefficient of thermal conductivity and the density.
Hemp wool has a relatively low density (especially flexible rolls) and a lower thermal mass capacity than wood fiber, which means that at equal thickness, its efficiency in summer can be lower by more than 50%. to that of wood wool.

3 - reinsertion, which is not bad either
